Especially when your company grossed 6 BILLION alone last year.
Face it. We're in for the same connection shit storm that plagued both pvp and pve. But hey atleast we have in game match making and treasure hunts!
Edit: Trending, yay
Edit: Still trending. Coz baby let's get pizza
Edit: can y'all please start using some logic for your argument? It's 2017 there's literally no excuse for your stupidity anymore.

Edited by Oftly: 5/22/2017 11:50:18 AMhere's my favorite argument. "the game isn't even out yet." ok, that's like bungie pooped in their hand and told us to stop saying it stinks because we haven't smelled it yet. are you really about to put your nose to it and inhale?
-
2 RepliesIt being 2017, doesn't lower the cost of dedicated servers. Would you be willing to pay a monthly fee to Bungie, to cover those costs?
-
1 ReplyCan someone plz factcheck this guy? 6 billion?! Much doubt... much doubt...
-
2 RepliesI have been summoned
-
*Bungie announcement* We have heard everything you guys have been saying. We are glad to announce dedicated servers. BUT, you will have to pay $7,000 for the subscription per month! Thank you!
-
1 ReplySo since there's still no dedicated servers, what are the error codes going to be named after this time? Animals again, or something else?
-
1 ReplyI've witnessed a lot of trivial complaints since Destiny was formally revealed. The lack of dedicated servers is NOT one of them.
-
No excuse? Cost and who pays. I have very few issues with lag.

3 RepliesWe ran out of shits to give about PvP. Go play something else. Love, Bungie.
I would preorder ten Collectors Editions if this were true. The game should be 90% about PVE.
-
3 RepliesWaauw do you live in September already or what?? You haven't played D2 yet and already complaining. Mimimimimi.
-
5 RepliesHow much pizza do you want? I can pay for you.
-
No excuse?
As long as that line keeps trending up, they have a pretty good one.
-
I think I may wait a couple of months and buy the game second hand after this news.
-
Wet fart
-
3 RepliesHate to say this but.....called it! If I could've put money on it months ago I would've.
-
3 RepliesAtleast see how their advanced peer-to-peer system plays out before worrying.
-
5 RepliesWhy spend more when people will buy it anyway and dedicated servers means jack shit to bad internet connection so you will still see red bars and lag so what's the point
-
1 ReplyI'm more shocked that you find this surprising considering who you're dealing with. But what do I know fans with still defend this "new game" till the very end.
-
3 Repliessure there is an excuse. Because they said so. bungie doesn't need any more excuses than that
-
12 RepliesPeople need to realize that dedicated servers mean naff all, if you have a bad/slow connection it will still be bad whether you host a game or connect to a server. You'll still be "red bar" You'll still warp around You'll still make it sh!t for everyone else. Bungie using their resources for something else was, and is, the right call.
-
Bump Bump Bump Bump. It's going to be the same shit storm lag fest as Destiny 1. We can no longer go on good faith that Bumgo will make a good game. Things like frame rate and dedicated servers are real quality of life improvements to this game. Not extra patrol missions and a slower time to kill in the crucible.
-
1 ReplyIs it confirmed that we won't get dedicated servers?
-
Edited by harvin_s_dhillon: 5/21/2017 4:48:57 PMWouldn't bungie need servers provided by Activision, which is too much investment for them
-
1 ReplyThe reason bungie can't well other games do is simple. Sony. Alot of gaming companies that are smaller, yet use DS, use a special kind. They use ones made, operated, and maintained by MICROSOFT. Sony would never let do that. The only thing I'm confused about is how BO3 has DS. Cod really never did and people knew that after the big lag in BO2 then the other games not touching the idea of DS people seemed not to care. So idk what drove them to have that game get DS. Cause if they can buy and manage there own ACTIVISION should just make a HUGE SERVER FARM for all they're games. It be cheaper to just be like MICROSOFT and have a farm so large companies like BUNGIE that partner with ACTIVISION would pay an amount to use them, but at a cheaper cost.
