I Have Enjoyed the Age of Triumph Quite a Lot
This post will likely be passed up and overlooked because it's positive. But if anyone sees it and feels the same, give it a bump.
All in all I appreciate this event. I began Destiny by joining a clan. I had no idea what I was getting into. Never watched a trailer of Destiny. Never saw a YouTube video on it. I had never even played a game online with actual people in my life. I have now played Destiny for over 4010 hours since the beta and I've enjoyed almost every hour. (Laggy crucible 😩 exception).
I have thoroughly enjoyed the AoT and having all the raids relevant. I have said in the past that I didn't want old content. But I have really enjoyed going through these raids again and obtaining all the new weapons and armor sets. The loot has been very generous (for me at least) and I haven't gotten any armor piece I couldn't use. It all looks very cool, although certain stuff looks better than others, but I guess that's a matter of personal preference.
I have also met some great players and cool people through recruitment recently. Gg to them.
I'm excited for D2.

Same, but i wish they made the armour drop rates insane, and the weapon drop rates like year 1. There just no longevity.

I'm with you on this. Some people think you have to be a blind fan boy to love this game obviously but I love the game. Clocked in countless hours on xbox one and just recently started on the ps4. Gane could use improvements but so can every other game on that's out. Can't wait for destiny 2 either

For the players that have been here since day 1 , they needed to give other stuff to keep people who were still around interested for one last massive grind before D2 . I had a month break and slowly jumping back in .

Honestly I really enjoy the content within AoT! Sure LFG can be frustrating, but to me that doesn't hurt the quality of the content itself

8 RepliesI have hated every minute of every raid and to this end the lack of skilled players like myself in Destiny and lfg only seems to make it worse, im finding a clan that raids for Destiny 2 or I will not go through the hassle of getting a team together as I did in year 3 and say so long to Destiny. The thought of doing a raid challenge right now makes me sick. LOL ,Im done.

I never understood why they didn't just bring the old raids up to light level when they'd add an expansion. It made no sense to have %75 of your best pve content sitting collecting dust. Hopefully they learned a lesson and won't make the same mistake in D2.
