Why is everyone so angry?
The only two things I'm a little upset about is landfall and hungering blade. But even that isn't worth crying and raging on the forums about.
The crucible is the best it's been in a long [b][i]loooooonnnngggg[/i][/b] time. There is so much diversity now! I'm pretty sure I've been killed by every archetype of every weapon in the past 2 games.
Special ammo spawns every minute in multiple different places. You can survive without your shotty for a minute. I'm getting special ammo pretty regularly. It's definitely not a desert.
And. PRIMARIES ARE BEING USED IN THE CRUCIBLE! EVEN AUTO RIFLES! AND THEY'RE ACTUALLY GOOD!

How so? None of those posts have given me a clear coherent answer. People are just complaining when there's hardly anything to complain about.
Chill, guys this change is absolutely amazing for the most part.
Edit: Okay I get it. People are trying to find the new meta. But I still think there will be more diversity in the crucible now.

I've hardly been killed by a single shotgun. One thing I have noticed, the pvp game has slowed down lots.

All they did was shift the meta to hand cannons and autos again... Side arms are usable now. Crucible is way to passive now. I flat out hate playing pvp like that. I'm a run n gun type player. Guess thats why my stats suck lol. Scout rifles seem broken. So do pulses. I couldn't get close enough to try a shotgun with the bullet hoses and 2-3 shot hand cannons. I'll give it more effort tonight before i start bitching.

Nah dude I am mad at all the accidental changes to health regen perks (which none of which should have ever happened). I am very happy with what was intentional though.

I'm very happy with the update and nothing to complain about. I'm a primary guy 90% of the time so I'm not bothered by it at all. I hated stormcallers so that's awesome I don't understand people's complaints except the ones like use all of the nerfed items like a crutch ;)

The auto rifle buffs were a small step in the right direction, but I don't feel they make such a dramatic difference to where they will be a strong force in the meta. Feels like we're building up to another meta where people will figure out what the most optimal weapon + perk build combinations are and then players will flock to those same few handful of builds en masse. Just need a little time for the dust to settle. There's always this "honeymoon phase" where people think a new patch is amazing because people are experimenting with different weapons, but then when people start to figure things out, it will be the same song as all the past balance patches, just with different lyrics.

Seriously? This kind of post pops up after every single balance patch. All of the sudden people get excited that everyone is trying different weapons. Guess what. Couple of months from now it will go back to the old ways. People are going to find weapons that are better than others. Some youtuber is going to make a video about how amazing they are. And all of a sudden majority of the players will use just those weapons and everyone will be back here saying how it's the worst meta.

Yeah just waited a month kid, new meta will be around by then and you won't be so happy. The crucible is always full of diversity after a balance patch, then everyone finds the best gun and uses it.

People are mad because bungie has a history of not segregating fixes that are appropriate for the crucible from story missions. They also slipped another .05% increase in on high impact ARs when they are notoriously bad to begin with. Lol

2 RepliesI was fine with it before the patch. Who gives a shit if all you see is the same weapons? What's it matter if you got killed by a shotgun, sniper, Grasp, or Palindrome? Your -blam!-ing dead anyway. Variety of weapons means squat. People will gravitate to the best and once it's found out the same people whining about shotguns will be whining about that too. They didn't have to ruin Truth, if I remember correctly that was the first rocket launcher with tripod in this game and now it's a joke, it should be called False now. Also they say they don't want to nerf things into the ground but that's exactly what they do. They -blam!- these weapons up so much no one even uses them anymore. Is that the intention? To have them just not being used at all by anyone? I saw 0 matadors, 0 grasps, 0 dragons, 0 Truth rockets, 0 Bladedancers last night in 15 matches. That's a decent sample size for the 1st day, and we changed lobbies every time. Then you have the "unintentional nerfs" which I don't know what to believe. It's either 1. Incompetence, or 2. Deception. Either way it's a bad look for Bungie.

Probably because they mentioned at the start of their balance stream that they'd try to do fewer nerfs. However they ended up making a bunch of nerfs nobody really even asked for. I don't recall anyone asking for nerfs to... Truth Quickdraw Hungering Blade and inadvertently EVERY regen perk(they might fix this)

Lol, yes! Bump indeed. I love the changes so far. Primaries are balanced, you can move around the map without fear of a flying shotty or being sniped all the time, and ammo is spawning all the time so it's not bad at all. I think they did a great job. Fact is most people don't know what SPECIAL means, and were spoiled in Year 1 and 2. Now that special is indeed special, they cry. The only fix they need to make is on sidearms. When I picked up special I noticed that after death, it retained that special...meaning I'd come back with over 100 rounds. That should be fixed and lowered a ton.

because people are always so attached to the meta, anytime a patch threatens that meta people always say that bungie is the devil and dont know what theyre doing. then after the patch they find the new meta and fall in love with it and the cycle continues. until the game is relatively balanced people will always complain when things are getting nerfed. then people will complain about other things because the way bungie has been listening has made these forums full of people who complain a lot so bungie might change the game to fit their play style. i dont want to say cry babies but its kind of fitting.
