Why is everyone so angry?
The only two things I'm a little upset about is landfall and hungering blade. But even that isn't worth crying and raging on the forums about.
The crucible is the best it's been in a long [b][i]loooooonnnngggg[/i][/b] time. There is so much diversity now! I'm pretty sure I've been killed by every archetype of every weapon in the past 2 games.
Special ammo spawns every minute in multiple different places. You can survive without your shotty for a minute. I'm getting special ammo pretty regularly. It's definitely not a desert.
And. PRIMARIES ARE BEING USED IN THE CRUCIBLE! EVEN AUTO RIFLES! AND THEY'RE ACTUALLY GOOD!

How so? None of those posts have given me a clear coherent answer. People are just complaining when there's hardly anything to complain about.
Chill, guys this change is absolutely amazing for the most part.
Edit: Okay I get it. People are trying to find the new meta. But I still think there will be more diversity in the crucible now.

Bungie nerfs special weapons then nerfs special ammo but there is little to no incentive to use special weapons.

I personally think the changes work for everything BUT Elimination....Elimination needs its own tweaking. All I have seen is No Land Beyond and Icebreaker. It has in fact made it even campier, and severely limited what you can use. If they changed Elimination/Trials so that each round your special spawned with 1 magazine only (dying and be revived obviously will wipe your special ammo) it would not handcuff people into using these exotics...I feel no change will be happening though at least for sometime.

In a week people will gravitate to the main 3-4 weapons. And then the ttk will slow waaaaaaay down. You heard it here first.

3 RepliesI don't think I have seen one post complain about the intended changes minus truth. People are raging because of a -blam!- up on their end that destroyed life regen perks on multiple sub classes and weapons. Some people only play pve like myself and it has definitely negatively influenced pve.

All the weapons change I am "mostly" fine with. Maybe not the truth change as it becomes worst then a blue-rare rpg now.The problem here was the subclass changes, we now have really good subclasses and complety nearly useless ones aka blade and a few others. I mean using blade nowadays is like asking to be killed. Better of using feelwinters since that super is utter trash

I don't get it either. People rage easily these days. I wish that instead of pointles rage some decent analytic people would make a post with good feedback. Cozmo posted that this update will probably need some editing. So why the rage? Most people actually like the special ammo change. Yes it needs some tweaking (sidearm OP imo), bit isn't it great that people use their primary now? I also don't like most of the class changes. But give some feedback and time to the devs. TLDR; control your rage

Got a chance to try some different weapons and so forth. The Special ammo issue is way overblown. I had no problem getting ammo when I needed it. The energy drain nerf didn't really affect me much with my Warlock. I did notice Hand Cannons seemed much more potent. I even broke out my Clever Dragon and was happy to see that it is still effective. However, after a while players will figure out what works best and we'll be right back where we started. The whiners will be out in force complaining about whatever weapon is working well.

Are you new? Diversity happens after every weapon balance, because people are finding what the best is. Give it a week or two and every load out will be similar again. It's a repeating cycle that never fails. Don't think diversity will last.

There is always "[i]diversity[/i]" the first couple weeks after a patch. It will be a matter of time until there is a new meta to gripe about.

3 RepliesAbunch of shotguns rushers are butt hurt. They are starting to realize they were never good at the game, unless they were being an ape. Now that your pretty much forced to use a primary, they are getting frustrated. This is by far the best meta we've had since year 1.

They can't main their shotguns anymore & jump around like mario brothers with them. That's right, they actually have to take a gun and aim it now *hands on face with a shocked look* & actually shoot more than one bullet to get a kill, who would've thought, you have to actually earn a kill now... There are some bugs... But, most are just sore (regardless of what long winded excuse they concoct) that their precious guns are no longer the Meta or the secondary ammo change... Which I love.

100% agree. Crucible is its best right now and yeah, there's a lot more different weapons I'm seeing so far being used.

I guess I have to agree here. I'm not all happy with the patch but the hysterical outbrake is childish. Play and try to adapt and if things are still really, really bad (and we have seen lots of that actually!!!) then it's time to complain... The few games I played so far, it felt really good, especially my lord high fixer that I adore more than anything, maybe that's why I'm all calm and easy though...!?
