*edit* Just and update... the quest seems bugged. It takes maybe 20 kills to finish this part and around 10 in the crucible so unless you're in a huge hurry it's entirely possible to just go about your normal routine and finish it without too much effort. Either way for those of you that want a simpler way or haven't gotten all the exotic swords yet (it takes a ton of ability kills for those) you should find this helpful. Alright I figured I'd post this for the newer players and maybe some vets that never knew. Obviously if you're a Titan void based ability kills are never fun but this method is faster for ANY class, especially combined with using your actual abilities. Here's the steps... 1. Equip any sword of the element you are working on. For example, a Dark Drinker for void ability kills. 2. Pop a heavy synth if you don't have any sword ammo. If you already do skip to step 3. 3. Swing the sword around wasting the ammo until you have 5 left. You can go lower than 5 but I stop there to make sure. 4. Next hold the block button with the sword until the ammo is gone and you just have the hilt left. 5. Kills enemies with the hilt. Every kill counts as an ability kill. A few side notes... you can load up any activity you want to do this. I'm old school so I use the Siege of the Warmind mission on Earth. Just load the lowest difficulty and run through until you get to the long underground hallway before the final room. Melee all the knights, acolytes and thrall until you get to the steps that lead up to the control room with the yellow knight. Jump of the edge and repeat. Never go into the large final room or you'll lose the check point. Use your abilities if you want. I generally just melee with the hilt since it's so fast but if you have a nova bomb I'd use it. Same with hammers and golden gun if you're doing the solar. You get the idea. I finished the 100 kills on the first run. For some reason it was counting each kill as 3 but I wasn't complaining. Lastly this will work for any quest/mission requiring elemental ability kills so just keep it in mind if you come across another situation like this. I hope this all helps (especially you defender titan). I know this isn't extremely organized but it should be easy to understand at least. Later guardians! *edit* For the people saying this was easy and just use nades... the quest is either bugged or the description is wrong. It's definitely not 100 kills. More like 20. If anyone remembers doing any quests in the past that required 100+ void ability kills with a defender titan can appreciate this tip lol.
