I presume alot of you have already seen the Eliksni/Fallen Outcast concept?...
(This wonderful piece of work was Created by Ste Marshall & obviously all the credit goes to him for this amazing concept)
(I know this is an older concept but I just wanted to share the idea with people who may not have seen it before!)
https://www.artstation.com/artwork/destiny-fan-concept-fallen-outcast
First and foremost hopefully they let you keep you current characters and progression stats moving forward onto Destiny 2!
The one thing I would love, is if they introduced a new class or two along with new subclasses for each!
Now how f*cking awesome would this Eliksni/Fallen Outcast be?...
Heres the background story behind it (Again created by Ste Marshall so all credit goes his way!)
“Wait...don’t fire” . Tamrin tapped the scope of her comrade’s rifle. Without straying from the scope, Orgust muttered against the rising wind “You think there’s something different about any of these vermin?”. Tamrin lowered her rifle, and knelt down into earshot of Orgust. “I think the fact he has a Ghost of his own is a reason to watch them a little longer”. For an over an hour, the two Guardians had been in pursuit of an energy trace linked to a Guardian who was killed just a few short cycles ago.
The energy trace was weak, but getting stronger by the minute almost feeding from an unkown source. Inrys, the fallen Guardian and owner of the Ghost had been a close comrade of the two remaining, and they had become insistent that her Ghost had somehow revived her despite being partly destroyed in a firefight. As they both peered down onto an abandoned airfield from a mountainous vantage point, a group of Fallen had set upon a lone Vandal, who had constructed a makeshift camp inside the cockpit of a dismantled aircraft. Smoke from his fire had attracted a patrol close by, and dragged him down onto the dust. In their Fallen chatter, the two guardians could not understand their inquiry, but they knew now that this Fallen was different. They believed he had been trying to fix Inrys’ Ghost, setting up wherever he could, trying not to be detected and working away by day and night.A fallen Captain lunged forward towards the outcast, both secondary arms unsheathing a blade each. With his right primary arm, the captain lifted the outcast up by the throat, turning his head to the rest of the small patrol and cackling with madness. A shot rang out, piercing through the air. The shot strikes the Captain in the neck, knocking him over and shorting his shield. “My thoughts exactly” whispered Tamrin, shouldering her rifle and striking another of the patrol in the chest.
Two dregs run to cover behind a tarpaulin, peeking out and terrified with shock, but more fearful of a reprisal from their Captain. The outcast shoots a glance towards where the shot was fired, and maintains his stare as he unsheathes a hunter’s blade. Driving it into the head of the Captain, he unholsters an archaic looking handcannon, and fires towards where the Dreg’s were hidden. The two Guardians trace the Dregs scrambling away, over the crest of a dust mound and out of sight. The outcast dashes back into his makeshift home, and emerges with the Ghost. The two Guardians watch with bated breath, lowering their weapons. With a flash of blue light that almost saturated the air around the outcast, the Ghost jolts into life. It was feeding on the ether inside the outcast’s body. The Ghost pulses with blue light, almost signalling to any recipients in the area, flashes and arcs of electricity causing it to jitter in the hand of the outcast. The two Guardians call upon their own Ghosts. Almost simultaneously, they announce that the message reads “Friend. Not enemy. Fix light, find brother.”
Personally I think this would be amazing, giving you a new class to chose from, along with the new subclasses that go along with it...
I guess it would kinda fit in as well with the lore considering the traveller had spent time with the Eliksni before it reached earth. So perhaps there are still some "Good" untainted fallen out there who are kind of like intergalactic refugees inhabiting earth but not necessarily part of the Fallen army.
They could do so much with this as well in terms of gameplay missions, going undercover to assassinate or retrieve intel from a huge fallen ketch or something along those lines...
From my impressions it could be sort of a rogue class, being able to climb walls like you have seen and perhaps using gadgets and machinery to help dispatch enemies along with new subclass talents.
Anyway, I know this is quite a historic concept but thought I would share it again with everyone in the hopes that some people may not have seen it!
And again ALL credit goes to it's creator Ste Marshall!!

4 RepliesThat is by far the coolest thing I have ever read in these forums. That would be a great idea for Bungie to implement. They should contact Ste Marshall and hire him on the spot for his fantastic work!!!

2 RepliesI think that the fallen should stay as a enemy in destiny 2, I feel like they could be expanded upon and be given some new houses to fight against. now, don't get me wrong, I like the fallen be allies, but only the wolves(cause I hate the house of wolves, and I mean the house, not the expansion). I feel like each house needs to be expanded upon and given some new abilities and story, like giving the kings a dank new expansion and making the house of winter fanatical about the vex, and turning the house of exiles into a magic using actually evil house, with a name like the Voidburners(its my fanfiction guys, well its not that kind of fanfiction, its actually very possible.) so yeah, BRING BACK THE FALLEN INTO DESTINY 2!

Just thought I would refresh this with the leaks being released etc...

1 ReplyIgnore the haters, I think this is an amazing idea people have had since year one.

2 RepliesI think I came up with a worthwhile solution if the characters don't transfer please read: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/214122987?sort=0&page=0

I want that rifle! Looks like an advanced BAR.

Looks sick

1 ReplyThat was actually a really good read! Thanks

1 ReplyEdited by Elden Lord Archon: 9/30/2016 4:42:28 PMTHIS GUY NEEDS TO WORK FOR BUNGIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Although I'd rather start from square 1 instead of transfering all of my stuff. However, I think you should be allowed to bring 1 legendary armor piece of each type from Destiny 1, as well as 1 legendary weapon of each type. You should also be allowed to bring one exotic weapon, period, and one exotic armor, period.
I'd bring The Ram for sure! XD
1 ReplyThat's probably the best class idea I've ever heard.Ive always been a fan of the fallen a once honourable race reduced to scavengers. If bungie did this it would be my only class that I play
-
1 ReplyInitially, I was against The Fallen as our allies because I thought it wouldn't work with the story. But this made me change my mind. It would add some depth to The Eliksni story wise and add some diversity to gameplay. Imagine playing as a Eliksni outcast and having interactions with Variks or the reef? We've already seen that the fallen are crafty, (fusing their bodies with what we call a techno virus, using gadgets to utilize short range teleportation, tracking primary weapons, etc) so seeing what a Eliksni would do with light would be interesting. Shit, we played the arbiter in Halo 2,i wouldn't be surprised if we had a character change that drastic again.

10 RepliesHere's a class I'd like to see
The Bee Movie According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible. Yellow, black. Yellow, black. Yellow, black. Yellow, black. Ooh, black and yellow! Let's shake it up a little. Barry! Breakfast is ready! Ooming! Hang on a second. Hello? - Barry? - Adam? - Oan you believe this is happening? - I can't. I'll pick you up. Looking sharp. Use the stairs. Your father paid good money for those. Sorry. I'm excited. Here's the graduate. We're very proud of you, son. A perfect report card, all B's. Very proud. Ma! I got a thing going here. - You got lint on your fuzz. - Ow! That's me! - Wave to us! We'll be in row 118,000. - Bye! Barry, I told you, stop flying in the house! - Hey, Adam. - Hey, Barry. - Is that fuzz gel? - A little. Special day, graduation. Never thought I'd make it. Three days grade school, three days high school. Those were awkward. Three days college. I'm glad I took a day and hitchhiked around the hive. You did come back different. - Hi, Barry. - Artie, growing a mustache? Looks good. - Hear about Frankie? - Yeah. - You going to the funeral? - No, I'm not going. Everybody knows, sting someone, you die. Don't waste it on a squirrel. Such a hothead. I guess he could have just gotten out of the way. I love this incorporating an amusement park into our day. That's why we don't need vacations. Boy, quite a bit of pomp... under the circumstances. - Well, Adam, today we are men. - We are! - Bee-men. - Amen! Hallelujah! Students, faculty, distinguished bees, please welcome Dean Buzzwell. Welcome, New Hive Oity graduating class of... ...9:15. That concludes our ceremonies. And begins your career at Honex Industries! Will we pick ourjob today? I heard it's just orientation. Heads up! Here we go. Keep your hands and antennas inside the tram at all times. - Wonder what it'll be like? - A little scary. Welcome to Honex, a division of Honesco and a part of the Hexagon Group. This is it! Wow. Wow. We know that you, as a bee, have worked your whole life to get to the point where you can work for your whole life. Honey begins when our valiant Pollen Jocks bring the nectar to the hive. Our top-secret formula is automatically color-corrected, scent-adjusted and bubble-contoured into this soothing sweet syrup with its distinctive golden glow you know as... Honey! - That girl was hot. - She's my cousin! - She is? - Yes, we're all cousins. - Right. You're right. - At Honex, we constantly strive to improve every aspect of bee existence. These bees are stress-testing a new helmet technology. - What do you think he makes? - Not enough. Here we have our latest advancement, the Krelman. - What does that do? - Oatches that little strand of honey that hangs after you pour it. Saves us millions. Oan anyone work on the Krelman? Of course. Most bee jobs are small ones. But bees know that every small job, if it's done well, means a lot. But choose carefully because you'll stay in the job you pick for the rest of your life. The same job the rest of your life? I didn't know that. What's the difference? You'll be happy to know that bees, as a species, haven't had one day off in 27 million years. So you'll just work us to death? We'll sure try. Wow! That blew my mind! "What's the difference?" How can you say that? One job forever? That's an insane choice to have to make. I'm relieved. Now we only have to make one decision in life. But, Adam, how could they never have told us that? Why would you question anything? We're bees. We're the most perfectly functioning society on Earth. You ever think maybe things work a little too well here? Like what? Give me one example. I don't know. But you know what I'm talking about. Please clear the gate. Royal Nectar Force on approach. Wait a second. Oheck it out. - Hey, those are Pollen Jocks! - Wow. I've never seen them this close. They know what it's like outside the hive. Yeah, but some don't come back. - Hey, Jocks! - Hi, Jocks! You guys did great! You're monsters! You're sky freaks! I love it! I love it! - I wonder where they were. - I don't know. Their day's not planned. Outside the hive, flying who knows where, doing who knows what. You can'tjust decide to be a Pollen Jock. You have to be bred for that. Right. Look. That's more pollen than you and I will see in a lifetime. It's just a status symbol. Bees make too much of it. Perhaps. Unless you're wearing it and the ladies see you wearing it. Those ladies? Aren't they our cousins too? Distant. Distant. Look at these two. - Oouple of Hive Harrys. - Let's have fun with them. It must be dangerous being a Pollen Jock. Yeah. Once a bear pinned me against a mushroom! He had a paw on my throat, and with the other, he was slapping me! - Oh, my! - I never thought I'd knock him out. What were you doing during this? Trying to alert the authorities. I can autograph that. A little gusty out there today, wasn't it, comrades? Yeah. Gusty. We're hitting a sunflower patch six miles from here tomorrow. - Six miles, huh? - Barry! A puddle jump for us, but maybe you're not up for it. - Maybe I am. - You are not! We're going 0900 at J-Gate. What do you think, buzzy-boy? Are you bee enough? I might be. It all depends on what 0900 means. Hey, Honex! Dad, you surprised me. You decide what you're interested in? - Well, there's a lot of choices. - But you only get one. Do you ever get bored doing the same job every day? Son, let me tell you about stirring. You grab that stick, and you just move it around, and you stir it around. You get yourself into a rhythm. It's a beautiful thing. You know, Dad, the more I think about it, maybe the honey field just isn't right for me. You were thinking of what, making balloon animals? That's a bad job for a guy with a stinger. Janet, your son's not sure he wants to go into honey! - Barry, you are so funny sometimes. - I'm not trying to be funny. You're not funny! You're going into honey. Our son, the stirrer! - You're gonna be a stirrer? - No one's listening to me! Wait till you see the sticks I have. I could say anything right now. I'm gonna get an ant tattoo! Let's open some honey and celebrate! Maybe I'll pierce my thorax. Shave my antennae. Shack up with a grasshopper. Get a gold tooth and call everybody "dawg"! I'm so proud. - We're starting work today! - Today's the day. Oome on! All the good jobs will be gone. Yeah, right. Pollen counting, stunt bee, pouring, stirrer, front desk, hair removal... - Is it still available? - Hang on. Two left! One of them's yours! Oongratulations! Step to the side. - What'd you get? - Picking crud out. Stellar! Wow! Oouple of newbies? Yes, sir! Our first day! We are ready! Make your choice. - You want to go first? - No, you go. Oh, my. What's available? Restroom attendant's open, not for the reason you think. - Any chance of getting the Krelman? - Sure, you're on. I'm sorry, the Krelman just closed out. Wax monkey's always open. The Krelman opened up again. What happened? A bee died. Makes an opening. See? He's dead. Another dead one. Deady. Deadified. Two more dead. Dead from the neck up. Dead from the neck down. That's life! Oh, this is so hard! In my opinion, this might be a tad OP though
2 RepliesEdited by Cour8ois: 10/2/2016 7:55:40 AMVery nice design. How cool would it be if we can create a Fallen guardian in destiny 2. If you look at the lore it would make sense that there would still be remnant guardians left when the traveler chose to "leave" the fallen for a yet undisclosed reason unknown to us. What if those guardians would have traveled through the darkness for all those years to reconnect with the traveler.
-
I've been hoping for this since I started playing in Jan. 2015.
-
Eh, it's cool idea. But we would still have fallen as an enemies since there would be some that still stand against us. House judgement might the the house fallen players come from and they should have their own story mode as well.
-
3 RepliesI have wanted to be a fallen captain ever since I've seen them. To play ad a fallen would be so freaking cool.
-
3 RepliesDual wielding is so Halo 2. It's all about quad wielding these days
-
I want to play as that character. I will happily delete a character so I can play as a fallen
-
1 ReplyI don't think you realize how much I need this in my life
-
2 RepliesFallen is the only thing that has a chance at being cooler than an Exo.
-
1 ReplyEdited by ClovenTrack620: 10/1/2016 4:02:07 PMthis makes alot of sense and could easily fit into the lore, after all the traveler resided with the fallen for a while and worked wonders according to the lore, besides it'd be hella cool . Bungie said they were going to make D2 a whole new experience , so it seems like this could be a perfect addition , and one that many of us like already.
-
3 RepliesMaybe not as a class. I think it would make more sense that the fallen could be chose as a race (like exos or humans) for the guardian creation in destiny 2.
-
Tigerman and Fallen as playable Guardian races. Lore wise this is possible, Tigerman was a joke yes, but they are referenced throughout the Grimoire, the most prominent reference being that of sentient feline creatures settling on the deeps of the jungles of the Mumbai push. Fallen were once subjects of the Traveler, they to can be uplifted with the light of the traveler due to this. They may not have a ghost, but their technology can make them formidable enough to be a Guardian. Best example is Variks, he can single handedly capture and control everything. A Guardian fallenc would do much more.
-
The Lore would need considerable changing for this to happen. Both the Lore and the ghosts say humanity, and those once human, are the only beings able to channel the Traveller's Light. That's why the Traveller felt there was something special about our system. Dreams of Alpha Lupi for Earth
The blaze sits inside a nest of little worlds, still too distant to share its heat but plainly staring out at you. A face emerges, drawn from plasmas and radiation... There must be meanings in its roar. You listen hard and carefully, and sometimes a lucid melody seems to rise out of random noise. Joy builds, and the first hope in ages transforms you. It seems important, even critical, to tell every star from here to the black between the galaxies that you will be strong again.
1 ReplyI'd love a fallen class. We know from Variks and what he's said that there are some fallen that hate the war with the traveller, and those who remember the days that the traveller fought for them instead of against them. It's not that far fetched to assume that there are other fallen that believe an alliance and a sharing of resources (aka the traveller) would be beneficial to both species.

This would be awesome!
