i have been away from this game for a while now, i will ask a quenstion that will determine if i will buy the expansion or not
Q: Will it be mathematicaly impossible that even if someone completes all end game activities religiously he may still not be able to reach the MAX light level?
this happened to me during kings fall were i had over 100 heroic kf completions on my back and still 2/3 of my characters didnt make it to 320 before the update and is what drove me away from the game.
i want to come back to the game but i dont want to go though this again so please thell me a "yes" or a "no"

I'm pretty sure if you did all endgame activities in ROI you'd get to 400 pretty easily in the coming weeks.

1 ReplyEdited by BuzZxKillntoN: 8/18/2016 6:00:26 PMHey man, you dont have to buy the new game. No one here will care, I doubt Bungie will either. If you're completing
all end game activities religiously
and still not hitting max light level then you're not doing it right.

4 RepliesEdited by Atom Alchemist: 8/18/2016 6:34:58 PMI'm trying to figure out how you have 100 raid completions that matter when it hasn't even been out for 52 weeks...

Forever 29!!!

3 RepliesPrior to the Spring Update, I was 0 for 120+ on drop chances in the KF raid for a 320 ghost. It was ridiculous. Forever 319. I did pick up 320 ghosts in the January Iron Banner and one from the Crimson Doubles deal. As of 4/12, reaching max light became easy mode for casuals. It would be difficult for Bungie to go back to the old system without a tremendous amount of backlash.

the levelling is so much easier post April update which isn't changing in rise of iron so i would highly suggest giving it a go.

2 RepliesEdited by Obamuh: 8/18/2016 4:07:33 PMHoly shit you weren't kidding about having 100 KF raid completions. Did you just go through it once until Oryx then give the cp to all your other characters?

After the April Update I got to 335 without doing a single raid. Assuming they don't make drastic changes I would assume that leveling up your light will continue to be easier with or without raiding.
-
Since you took a break from Destiny, Bungie has added numerous other means to achieve the max of 335 Light including Faction Packages and Challenge of Elders for instance.

6 RepliesWhy are you complaining about an issue thats already passed. The old 320 way was crap, we know that. The new way is better, and will stay with Rise of Iron.
-
7 RepliesThey made it way easier to rank up
-
6 RepliesOP is under 14 years old. Guaranteed.
-
2 RepliesI've been 335 for about a month. First time I completed the raid was like a week ago. It's easy to rank up
-
3 RepliesReaching max light is much easier now than it ever was. You don't even need to raid. You can get there solely from IB, CoO, and 3oC.
-
10 RepliesAre you talking about now, or during Rise of Iron?
-
Edited by P3rfectEnemy: 8/18/2016 1:58:58 PMdo IB and KF hard. then run a little t3 COO with all those runes you get in KF. Easy to make 334, 335 can be annoying when you need one 335 item. I still need gauntlets on my hunter and titan.
-
The problem was the 80% infusion that was in before April. now with it being 100% max light is easy. I went from 305 to 335 in 1 month
-
4 RepliesWith the way they have it setup now its cake to hit max light. I never once hit it before the april update. After the update i had all 3 chars 335 within a week. If you ask me they made it WAY to easy to hit.

1 ReplyWith the April update, Bungie altered the infusion systemsuch that when I infuse a higher light item into a lower light one, the lower light one moves fully to the higher light item, regardless of the gap. Previously, when infusing, often only a portion of the increase was experienced, depending on the difference in level between the two items. This significantly reduces the amount of infusion necessary to level up, especially with second and third characters as max level gear collected from the first can be used to move their gear up. This, in combination with the fact that Bungie increased the number of areas from which you can have max level gear drop (exotics go up to max level, Iron banner drops are increased, the new CoE, improved CoO drops, KF, TOO, etc.) it is quite easy to reach max light in this period of TTK, and since bungie has stated that the current infusion system will be maintained in RoI, it should still be less difficult than during the pre-April update period to reach max light.

5 RepliesI'm 332 and I only play regular crucible for like 2 hours a night. No trials, no raids, nothing. Idk what you're doing wrong buddy

5 RepliesSo you want guaranteed loot drops?

1 ReplyNot sure about RoI, but I have 3 X 335 toons with zero KF completions.
