This meta sucks. Its -blam!-ing terrible. All people do now is play passive to the point were if you play an aggressive play style then you are handicapping yourself. I play aggressive and I do not want to go into every game and have to deal with people that hardscope lanes at the back of the map and never push up, or people that just bodyshot with high impact snipers and switch to there primary to finish you off. That would defeat the whole point of a sniper. why is it when I go into every game I have to deal with this sort of shit, In year 1 people actually played aggressively and some people also played passively and they could both succeed, but now and for the best part of 8 months people play incredibly passively and do not push anything and if they do push they will bodyshot primary you, leaving the opposing player no chance to fight back. Fix this shitty meta of hyper passive play and lets have some more aggressive play in the game cos every game now is the same shit and its incredibly boring.
PS- I don't play 6v6 cos its shit, I'm talking about 3v3's
-
3v3s are complete sit and wait play styles and it's boring af
-
This grammar is the worse the grammar has ever been in terms of communicating.

If the time to kill was quicker, it wouldn't be a problem. I understand people don't want a COD TTK, but if the TTK was reverted to Year 1 with most weapons, I think people would have much more fun.
-
The word "meta" is the worst, that's the problem.

It's always funny to see a community fall into a grave it's dug for itself. The vocal minority wanted nerfs and balance and this is what we got. A snail race nightmare where you either get blasted by some rando sitting in a corner, or god bodied by some bushwookie nublet sitting in the back. All those nerfs sure fixed this game huh? God at least in Battlefield they let me fly a jet!

I blame it on the user if they can't handle the current crucible dynamic. Adapt or get destroyed is what I always think. This comes from a top 1% player. I play very aggressive and still do well, the combination of strategy, reaction time help me adapt to whatever the current crucible dynamic is, if I have to change weapons, so be it. I'm not going to complain if I couldn't adapt, it'd be my fault that I can't keep up. Feel free to disagree, but this is what I think. ~TheGreatNike

So many people I think are misunderstanding what he's getting at. We all get the avoid lanes and move and flank and all the other million of other ideas everyone has shared over the last couple months. I think he's saying that just by putting a shotgun on, you limit yourself some. Unless you roll a scout, you're going to be playing an uphill battle to beat a Lane with 3 glints on it. And even with a high impact scout, how many times have you been sniped in the head anyway? How many times have you been hit in the leg by a sniper while sliding into cover just to get hit by ome round of anything? It's not about gettin gud or whatever Lame excuse you guys have. It's about how rewarding it is to use a sniper over a shotgun regardless of most of the maps. Of course, this really applies in 3s. 6s you see more diversity and rumble is usually all shotgun. Tl;DR shotguns are more high risk high reward and reward strong movement abilities and area awareness. Snipers are very low risk high reward with only having a few counters. Additionally, I don't think a nerf would fix anything, but a buff to primaries would fix this issue. Give this guy a break.

A lot of people play 3v3 as if they are playing Trials or practicing for it: get a pick, collapse, play the body. Even in Salvage they dont capture. Or maybe theyre practicing with their snipers. If youre playing aggressive you definitely need a team to go in with to combat the pasisve playstyle. One rusher is easy to take care of. Three? Much harder.
-
Not really tho, you can use one of any weapon type and be successful with it
-
People play how they want to play. Most adapt to the meta and find ways to overcome it.
-
Any meta in Year 1 is better than anything since the release of Year 2.
Nerfs weren't being dished out every 3 months so Year 1 > Year 2.
-
I disagree

I have some advice for you! If you know they are hard scoping... Dont peek it! Stop complaining dude if you are going to peek a person scoped in and they know were you are at, you will die 9/10 times, so learn from YOUR mistakes and dont peek
-
10 RepliesYou're just salty because you had a rough time on Destiny. Good players know what to do about hard scoping base campers.
-
1 ReplyIf you want to play a game where you run straight into the other person who is also running straight into you.. you're on the wrong game. There's a few made for that though.
They rhyme with eyetenfall and fall of booty
2 RepliesIf you wanna rush into a spawn and get three shotgun kills, this isn't the game for you. Go back to Call of Duty.
-
2 RepliesHuh? Then adjust your play style.
-
1 ReplyBlah blah blah, next xpac will be the same Waaaah waaaaah! This is the worst meta evaaaaaaaaaaah! WAAAAAAAAAAH!!!

2 RepliesSo thorn pre patch was better? Excuse me?

I am below avg (just a hair under 1.0) and i can say i enjoyed the HoW era the most in pvp. The small window where pulse rifles kicked ass and handcannons where still good. That was fun
-
I cant even do 3v3 anymore its too cancerous. 6v6 still has some fun at least, just dont go full sweat and care about every little thing
-
Yeah definitely the most pussy Meta. Can't even tag anyone before they go running away crying all the way back to their bfs still camping on spawn...
-
Could not agree anymore, everyone plays passive and no one plays aggressive. This meta is trash
-
Where are these games? I never seen to get games like the ones people describe
-
1 ReplyJust adapt.
