thorn/shotguns was 10x more fun than now. prove me wrong

remember when time to kill on primaries wasn't an eternity long and could drop a sniper across the map in two seconds?
remember when a shotgun didn't need to get shoved up an enemy's taint to one hit kill?
remember when trials matches took 5 mins instead of 20 and you weren't res sniped every revive?
yeah...the last 7 months have sucked compared to the final year one pvp meta. ain't saying it was perfect. but it definitely wasn't the slow paced cluster -blam!- it is now.
edit: I never understood the argument about thorn, tlw, shotguns, etc. being op?? if everyone has access to the same shit, nothing is op lol. it comes down to you getting outgunned/outplayed. if they pop up and hit you with two head shots and run away, they still did something smarter then you to come out on top. denying that this meta wasn't the fastest paced meta the game has had is like saying the division was actually an interesting game.

Yeah, everyone had access to the same stuff, but it wasn't fun. I liked being able to use other guns and remain competitive.

I never used thorn, but I miss year 1, I miss using my old hand cannons and have fun with em. And I didnt mind getting killed by thorn. It felt good outgunning thorn users

Also the time when pulse rifles(red death especially) were fun for like 10 min before they were nerfed. It took what a month or 2 to nerf pulse rifles, but how many months of thorn/tlw/shotgun/blink? Which shotgun/blink didn't need a nerf. We need more buffs

It was a lot more fast paced, that's for sure. I did like the special weapon balance during those times, because I was still not completely getting shit on when using the middle-of-the-road fusion rifles. Nowadays, engagements feel tedious and the special weapon balance is still off, just with less ammo.

Yeah I agree. They should have just buffed other primaries up to par with them. Primaries SHOULD be the most used weapons but if I use primary only in a game today it's not going to be a fun experience.
