Why did Sony remaster God of War III, but not the other two?
I mean, I understand it from a practical perspective. Maaaaybe. Apparently I and II are remastered on PS3 from their original sixth generation forms. But why not unite every game in the series in one collection on the newest platform, if they're going to do any, just like MS did with Halo (ish)? I've never played a full game, just the demo for II or III, I think, and it was a lot of fun. But I don't want to start the series at the end, and I have a PS4, on which only the end is available. wat

I'm not sure. I believe the only reason they put God of War III back out is because Santa Monica is developing a new God of War and Sony wants the brand out there on PS4 before the new game hits.

Same reason KH 1 & 2 are not on ps4. They remastered these great ps2 games on PS3 already lol

Because Sony sucks at remasters compared to MS. I mean, let's give Uncharted all three main games a remastered collection but not give God of War the same treatment.

3 RepliesIve never played the first two due to owning a 360 at the time. I have a PS4. Does GoW3 have a stand alone story or must you play the first two to know and understand what is really going on?

1 and 2 are absolutely epic. Such a shame only 3 is on PS4...I was tempted to pick up 3 again (remaster of course) as it is only £15 on PSN at the moment.

I don't know but maybe the knew how weak there holiday lineup was and knew they could turn out a 3 remastered faster than all three.

4 RepliesI bought ps4 gow 3 for 20 bucks on black Friday that's the most I would pay for it. I already have it on ps3 and tbh it does not look much better on ps4

3 RepliesYou realize that, in order to remaster 1 and 2, they'd have to essentially build each game from the ground up? It's gonna take more than a graphics boost in order to have those games even come close to looking like God of War 3.
