You've gone too far this time....
Not Bungie, not Activision, not Deej or Cozmo, nope. I'm talking to you Destiny community, your vile toxicity is ruining this game.
This game had a real chance at being something spectacular yet these forums are dragging it down massively.
Get a grip, is rift really that bad? No it isn't, I've been playing solo and have been kicking ass on my warlock and I'm pretty awful at PvP so if I can do it, you can.
If you don't like the game stop playing it, don't try and ruin everyone else's experience as well.

My wallet proves different. If the forums are ruining the game, I want all 140+ dollars back that I lost due to the DLC's sucking and or only giving little gameplay to it. What they should have done is packed HoW and TTK into one DLC, THEN it would be worth the 70 -blam!-ing dollars I paid for it.

While I agree with you that Destiny is great and this community(which i don't take as representative at all of the actual Destiny community) is a train wreck unworthy of being taken even slightly seriously i don't think they are destroying anything. They should go away for certain but their pathetic mewling is on occassion entertaining.

it is pretty bad. mayhem would of been better. The only thing making it fun is playing it with friends. Playing it solo is a horrible experience.

10 RepliesWrong, so very wrong, the community has every right to complain at Bungie, the community is not as bad as you make out, everyone that is stating the community is toxic is dealing with a minority of the community. The community is the thing that is holding people with Destiny, the social aspect is the reason why its lasted as long as this. Think about it when you come on to Destiny what do you do? Do you go and see what there is to play in Destiny or do you go to your Roster and see what your friends are doing? Yeah ... I don't come on to Destiny to play the game, I come online to help friends and hang out with them and im sure many of you are the same. We, the community were not the ones who sold cut up content and a storyless game for a full price game, we were not the ones that lied through our teeth three times to the people that spent all their hard earned money on this game. We are not the ones that make countless incorrect decisions, then overhype a contentless DLC for double the price. Rift is a terrible choice for a game mode in competition, its ok if you wanna have fun but when you have skill based matchmaking, fun is not possible because every match is sweaty and try hards with all the best gear, theres no way you can just have a casual game with your friends in pvp anymore, hell trials is less sweaty than regular pvp at the moment. The community is not ruining the community's experience, Bungie are the ones with the control, the power to change the game for the better and they continue to take one step forward 2 steps back. IB clash rewards were insane, they got praised for that and it was great, so what do they do? Removed them all and made the control IB the worst rewarded event to date. There are so many more examples I could give but it would be a to long to read. Bungie is whats wrong with Destiny, NOT the community.

The community whines and bitches, I agree. However Bungie has LIED throughout the entire lifespans of Destiny thus far. They sell us things as "new" that were there since day 1 and also blame us for their mistakes. The community is toxic, but it only got this bad due to Bungie.
