You've gone too far this time....
Not Bungie, not Activision, not Deej or Cozmo, nope. I'm talking to you Destiny community, your vile toxicity is ruining this game.
This game had a real chance at being something spectacular yet these forums are dragging it down massively.
Get a grip, is rift really that bad? No it isn't, I've been playing solo and have been kicking ass on my warlock and I'm pretty awful at PvP so if I can do it, you can.
If you don't like the game stop playing it, don't try and ruin everyone else's experience as well.

1 ReplyLOL. These forums aren't Destiny's problem. Lazy and stupid developers are the problem. They say they can't sustain the pace of year 1 dlc in year 2. Say what?!?!? All the year 1 dlc was removed from the original release. What have they been doing all this time??? They can't even update year 1 missions for the daily. I mean Regicide today...AGAIN!!! How can we ever expect these slackers to update the year 1 raids and strikes? And don't you think it would have been a good Idea for Bungle to have run it past the community first...that they were planning Rift for IB. Why be so stupid as to assume the vast majority of the community wouldn't hate it? It's just one misstep after another from these morons. They're getting exactly what they deserve from this community.

1 ReplyMost people who complain about IB rift are either: A. solo players who don't play the objective. They sit in the back with their 1kys and TLW trying to get kills and hope their team goes for it. B. solo players that do play the objective. They go for it but die to the 5-6 man fireteam that has 5/6 snipers while their teammates sit in the back trying to get kills.

Well Rift isn't that bad. I already finished rank 5 on all three of my characters, wasn't so bad. But Rift is bullshit for Iron banner. Some of the maps favor one side and it's pretty much shit to get to the rift. But Bungie is making this game toxic.

I'm not someone who has complained about Destiny. I've mostly given them a pass since I still enjoyed playing the game. That said, I've played A LOT less lately--but that's fine. I always look forward to Iron Banner and was a little concerned over it being Rift. I started with an open mind. But after playing for a while, I absolutely hate this Iron Banner. It's terrible. I don't care about losing occasionally. But I hate getting rolled game after game. It's full of completely lopsided losses, people dropping out, etc. This is a game format that requires communication. NOBODY uses their mics. It just isn't fun.

pvp on a console sucks, for me a real shooter is on a john carmack engine. the kingsfall raid sucks too, the fight against oryx is a joke. a random team makeing some game mechanics. there is no real fight or individual dessisions. repeat shit for shit gear, pve events and a endless story....
