DESTINY PVP IS A JOKE.
Stuck waiting 10 min for a match to start. Then when it finally does I either get put in with losing teams on heavy round or I get put in with a majority of red bars. That and the ethics of play styles. Its like nobody can use primaries. Just camp back with secondaries till they get there super.
AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT THESE -blam!-ING RED BARS YOU INCOMPETENT -blam!-S.
Basically In regular crucible. Its just camp with your team mates with your 1k stare getting 2 shot body shots because they've nerfed every primary to the point that it can't challenge some camping bitch with a sniper like it used to. There used to never be posts about Snipers like there are now. Why? Because a high caliber 1k stare takes you down to next to nothing in health. Basically do this till heavy round or till you get your super. Its -blam!-ing pathetic, and the fact that the dev team doesn't acknowledge this make them incompetent retards.

3 RepliesI loved this last iron banner. I think a lot of the complaints on this forum are grossly exaggerated. (i cant speak about Trials...i dont play that) I played 3-4 hours a day and got 2 characters to level 5. I only had a 2-3 games all week of hallway camping snipers...no biggie. Maybe had 2-3 laggy matches. I got owned by all sorts of different weapons and classes, it wasn't nearly as bad as thorn/last word and shotgun days where that was the ONLY thing anyone used. i can say the one common thing , if any, was Mida. But there will always be a perceived 'best' gun. If they nerfed mida there would be a new best gun and then people would cry about that. That's just my opinion as an average, non elite guy that likes destiny pvp.

You probably have troubles with this because you live outside of America, especially if you live in Australia, if you live in a less populated area, play with a fireteam, have bad internet, or you're just insanely unlucky) Everything is well balanced and gun fights are fair My advice is get out of 6v6, those are always the worst playlists in my experience.

Edited by Raza582: 1/8/2016 3:46:40 AMI agree with the red bars and the matchmaking, both of them are terrible, but camping at the back of the map with a sniper is the way you play with a sniper, you don't run around with one and no scope everyone, its not a shotgun, hard scoping is how you use a sniper effectively. MIDA and any decent scout can challenge a sniper, the flinch it deals is more than enough to throw a average sniper off, sure a good player is probably going to be able to hit the headshot or at least tag you. The days of the shotgun rushing are behind us, you can't play a game with a shotgun as the primary anymore, snipers are using this method to counter the people that just rely on nothing but their shotgun and I tell ya the people that are "camping" aka using a weapon to its full effectiveness are much better than people that just run up to you with a shotgun and skilless kill you after you have skillfully plugged them 3 or 4 times before they died. Snipers are in a good place right now, the only reason there is all this complaining is because people don't know how to counter them, if there is a sniper waiting for you around a corner .... change your angle, don't go down there, your going to be putting yourself at a disadvantage, go somewhere else, get a flank on them, theres not many maps that will force you to challenge a sniper, but there are tons of maps that suite shotguns down to a T and they still kill from an absurd range, but they are difficult to use now. The lag is terrible, the wait for games is terrible, the balance with weapons and classes is still not there, the maps are so poor. It needs to be addressed.

Honesty I don't care if they change the impact for pvp because I get head shots with it 80% of the time.. And it does take some practicing trust me. But it would suck if it got nerfed mainly because of PVE. Which it really is nice in, and it would be stupid to nerf it for that. When there's other problems.

6 RepliesThe wait time is terrible for finding a game. It shouldn't ever take 5+ minutes to find one. I mean, BO3 is literally near instant when entering matchmaking. There's just no excuse. And before anyone blames my internet, I have a 60 meg connection and live in PA. Not the middle of nowhere or a country outside of the US. So during peak hours when most people are online, I should have no issues finding a match.

2 RepliesIt is just comical playing now. My favourite things to do now are See how many rounds of my machine gun it takes to kill someone. I think my record now is about 15 rounds. And the guy still managed to get a shot gun kill on me as well. Of course... How few bullets I can be killed by with the mida. Two bullets is the record so far. Waiting for the one shot to happen. How many blade dance swipes to kill someone. I used up half my super just stabbing one guy until it decided to register. Best moment of today. Getting one shot from a Thorn. When did that beaut start getting used again. I really want someone to record a game against me so I can see just what on earth my character is actually doing compared to what I see on my screen. I guess a 34 download/ 5 upload speed just isn't enough to play online multiplayer games.

1 ReplyPvp is definitely changing and unfortunately not for the good. Lag is everywhere and ruining the experience. To much nerfing and buffing has corrupted it. Special ammo is to prevalent. People are using secondaries as primaries and the is just not how it's supposed to be. It's a shame. I love destiny's pvp and really hope bungie does something to seriously fix it...soon.

The majority of pvp players don't use primaries. If Bungie put a game type in that had no shotgun or snipers, only a handful of people would play it because the others couldn't kill anyone!
