Why is everyone crying so much about ten bucks? Its ten dollars. I dont wanna hear that its hard crap. Go by a case of water or chocolate and hustle. Oh wait cant buy water cause you dont have ten bucks. You have no excuse this is fu@$ing america people give money away for nothing. Stop waiting and go get it. Thats if you want it. 12 Replies1.) Only 1 sparrow can be RNG'd from Tess that isn't obtainable via SRL RNG. This sparrow is cosmetic and offered the same stats as the rest. 2.) The book provides you with a shader (cosmetic), emblem (cosmetic), and an armor set for SRL (cosmetic). The armor has base stats of 3 infuse that carries the same perks as other legendary SRL gear. So the book provides no Pay to Win service. 3.) Don't believe everything people cry about. I have nothing wrong with pointing out flaws in the game but you have to be accurate. Falsely claiming things will only stunt the community from more important matters. :) Have a nice day~

First the emotes and i thought "ok, it's like a little donation, with the money they can bring more stuff and i don't have to wait and buy a DLC"...then the festival of the souls and now THIS!!! Is ridiculous, i want to unlock things in the game not pay 5$ for a random sparrow and i don't care if is cosmetic stuff because they could have insert new colors instead of new 3D models for the sparrows. They have millions of dollars but remain BEGGARS!!! 1 ReplyNo the best loot isn't from the $10, infuse able specific rewards are. Read the Cosmo post. With the book you get quests where the rewards are known. The 320 drops are once you rank up in racing and RNG

The only thing the book gives that isn't cosmetic stuff is some stats for your races. Nothing to freak out about.

2 RepliesA lot of people think we're faulting Bungie for wanting to make a profit. We are not. We're faulting them for trying to squeeze every last cent they can out of their playerbase with these mostly pointless events (sparrow racing will at least have some leveled gear). Yeah, it's not technically pay to win. However, it is pay to have a sparrow that actually looks cool and unique. It would be like if Halo 3 just had Mark VI armor with a few different skins on it and we had to pay for Recon, EVA, EOD, Hayabusa, etc. Not pay to win, but you have to shell out if you want to have worthwhile customization. That's why we're upset.

3 RepliesI'm still really against micro transactions like these in what is already a pretty pricey game. I'll avoid the kiosk so it won't piss me off. Can be sure they completely overprice everything again, and people will fall for it again. The few companies left that don't do this, will see this and sellout too. We'll end up with games where more and more will be locked behind pay walls. Capitalism i know, still sucks though.
