With Black Ops, Fallout, and Tomb Raider out, do you think Destiny will start to lose some players?
With Fallout 4 and Tomb Raider tomorrow and I honestly see about 75% of my friends list already playing Black Ops 3, do you think Bungie will release some new content this week? For example there are some locked or hidden exotics out there i.e. the warlock helmet and boots. I’m already getting bored with the game, Nightfalls are crap, Raid is too easy and loot drops are not that good. Vendors and factions are pointless after you hit level 300+ and Legendary Marks are all but useless at this point. ToO is also a waste of time I’ve been to the lighthouse and those guns are decent at best. All I’m saying is a lot of people will be playing different games so I wonder if Bungie will do something to keep people playing especially this week.

I see them losing half to two thirds of their regular player base. The only people that even play destiny everyday now imo are professional streamers who make a living from playing it or people who can't afford a large library of games to play. There are better gaming experiences out there now to play and there will be more to come. This game only stays fun for about a month after a new dlc releases.

You don't need to play Destiny everyday. Enjoy gaming. Destiny is a good "go to" game and if they keep adding new content the community will keep going. Like it or not it's the most successful game of the new generation

I'd play more if they had actually matchmaking for raids/nightfall. Not sure why they're so resistant to this???

No Tomb Raider on PC at launch makes me a super sad panda. :( After the unmitigated awesomeness of the TR reboot if it was on PC I would be playing that even before Fallout.

Hell I love destiny and I have taken a break but to me destiny and all the new games coming out are not comparable. Cod is a fps that is 100% multiplayer there are like 3 people who even finish the campaign. Fallout is nothing but a story and unless you like spending hours walking around exploring, fallout is not the game for you. In other words fallout is the total opposite of destiny. I can say anything about tomb raider because I have not played one since I was a dirty minded kid but girl Indiana jones is not appealing in any way to me. If you enjoy destiny after a break you will be back.

Yes, started playing BO3 a lot more. So much game deprivation that its like a breath of fresh air to finally play something more rewarding and consistent than Destiny. Not even the Sleeper Simulant quest coming back helps, I just feel totally done.

They always come back. Changing games is like a flick to the balls,pain is sharp but fades with time. It does not matter how much you wanted to play battlefront or fallout 4. Your gonna miss this game, you will come back to this game, you cant escape this game.

2 RepliesI don't think they'll release anything this week but after a few weeks I wouldn't be surprised to see challenge mode come out and other quests. The thing is, even if they release a few things this week it wont do anything to stop people from leaving and going to those games so they may as well wait a few weeks till the hype for those games dies down and then drop new stuff to bring people back. I'm wondering when/if they're going to announce or tease the next DLC because they can't expect to go the whole year with minor releases and keep players.

3 RepliesI was running with a random group from the100.io this morning. My buddy send me a solid Reddit post about the game. So I asked - are you guys getting fed up with this game? All of them said yes. The investment of time versus the payout from hard mode was not worth it. The drops were horribly bad. They all stated there were other games that felt more rewarding. This doesn't mean they won't touch destiny again, but they aren't chomping at the bit to play it. FO4. Battlefront. COD. Their friends lists are shorter and shorter because people aren't playing. It's anecdotal. But it's quite common in all the 100 attempts I've made.

Yes I could tell while playing trials. 3 runs, flawless on all and the talent was low because so many on different games. I really enjoy black ops 3
