Yes or no?
Edit: Thank you all for the opinions or comments they're all very interesting and I'm trying to reply to a good amount of them.
Also my opinion on the matter is undecided at the moment, main reason I asked this question.

I predict that the beginning of the end for DESTINY will start with FALLOUT 4 and be hastened, if not given it's final trumpet, by MASS EFFECT!
-
2 RepliesI don't think anything at all, because I am a lifeless traffic cone.
-
No If they introduced pay to win
-
Sadly no, not from the content that I've experienced thus far :/
-
No. Not even 5. Another dev from a major studio will release a much better non -blam!-ed up version. Bungie and Activision both bang their drum about hours played and sold. Other devs who care for their fan base will make a game far better and that will crush this -blam!-ing cash sink
-
if they keep up the content like the taken king with more story, more quest and exotics then it might have a chance

1 ReplyDestiny has to worry about surviving the next 10 months, let alone 10 years. Only the truly addicted could be satisfied with the loot mechanics, grinding the raid, heroic strikes, CoO, etc and constantly getting crap loot drops. Didn't we get enough of that last fall while waiting for VoG to drop? Does anyone really look forward to the same BS? Now Bungie might ask me to pay (buy with silver) a chance to improve my chances with the screwed up loot drop table? /facepalm

Star wars force collection phone app is going on 3 years now; So yea as unfortunate as pay to win possibilities coming our way are; they WONT kill the game (Swfc is entirely pay to win btw)
-
lol destiny should be happy it's lasting this long…
-
Make a poll and put the link here
-
It will only last ten years if bungie fires it's management and hires on people that don't have their heads shoved up their ass onto the dev team. Oh and Luke Smith should quit his job as soon as possible. I hate that snob. Trying to justify all of bungies dumb decisions. That weeb actually had the audacity to say that all exotic weapons will have a "Golden Age, or "Season" to be overpowered when being asked about when thorn was going to be nerfed. ridiculous.

With the overhyped launch, underwhelming vanilla game, over-ambitious paytowin in the pipeline just weeks into year 2..... Hmmm no. I don't see it lasting 10 years.
-
HAHA -blam!- no.
-
2 RepliesNope. http://db.destinytracker.com/items/consumables/consumable

I won't be here soon. Once pay to win comes around I'm out.

3 RepliesDoubt it, I can see vanilla destiny levels being recycled up to year 10. I'm starting to get bored with TTK already.
-
1 ReplyShould've made a poll.
-
Not with the slippery slope of Micro-Transactions coming in.
-
2 RepliesEdited by DevGEM: 10/14/2015 5:35:57 AMThere's a ton they can do. They can build the city and let guardians explore it, find out more about the stranger, discover the vex origin and time jump into the past to stop it, find out who the nine are and more about the origin of xur, etc. Lots of unexplored branches on this tree.

1 ReplyShould have been a poll

Maybe as a mobile freemium title.
-
Possibly it depends on how the community reacts to micro-transactions (it's going to happen)

Edited by LC Pkpeople: 10/14/2015 5:57:47 AMPeople hate on this game... but im quite positive it is THE most played game on xbox live or playstation network. With that being said. I see destiny 2 surpassing destiny 1 tenfold. And then destiny 3 being on par if not some what inbetween 1 and 2 as far are awesomeness goes. And by the time 4 comes around, it will only be purchased because its name is destiny and played tenporarily by most. Because at this point, people will be so burnt out with this game. Not to mention the dozens more exclusives that will be out that are nothing more than a concept at this point.
