"Looking for people for King's fall raid. Must have experience, must be 307 light, must be this, must have that, must be awesome because i am too much of a retard to help someone learn the raid."
The raid has been out for a few days and already seeing this shit? Its hilarious! How do you think people supposed to get experience in the raid? Seriously, just give people a chance, especially in week one of the new raid hahaha.
What ever happened to the fun of experiecing a raid blindly? Lol. Everyone is all about the quick rewards instead of enjoying the game.
Im not personally having trouble finding teams for raids, i just think these posts are hilarious and pathetic.
Thanks for all the replies, im glad to see there are gamers like you guys who also find the recruiting hilarious! Keep that attitude and enjoy the raid on your own terms :)
Holy crap almost 1000 replies, glad to see a lot of people share my opinion lol. I will be raiding this weekend so maybe ill see some of you there! If not, i wish the rest of you the best of luck in finding fun raid partners!
You guys are awesome, i love the feedback. Im on PS4 by the way so if anyone ever wants to raid without meeting all these bullshit requirements feel free to add me. My only requirement is that you have patience and the will to learn! Lol

Now we know where "You want a job? Must have 5 years job experience." Came from
-
What's real funny is its on YouTube lol
-
People who ask for experience on those posts and they don't even know how to do it themselves it's ridiculous lol yesterday I join a group that said "looking for 1 more for oryx cp must know the strat and be 295+!! U will be kicked if you are not!" I joined them bc I had a vague idea of the strat after a couple attempts with other teams and the party leader goes, "hey man do you know how to do it? Cuz we have no clue" like what the hell why ask for that if u have no clue yourselves XD

1 ReplyI just cant understand how someone can already have real experience in that raid
-
I have not played because nobody will accept my light.
-
Im gonna be on trying to do the raid in the morning on xbox one. Around 6:00am PST if I can get a team together this will be my first run so if you wann learn with me send me a message and ill invite in the morning
-
2 RepliesI was turned down from a few for only being 294 light...
-
100% agree
-
That kinda shit makes me sick. These assholes are why you have to have experience for entry level jobs :/
-
10 RepliesEdited by War Panther: 9/24/2015 11:03:27 AMTrue I got to Golgoroth with me not having a mic playing with some friends but we couldn't kill it because only one guy had a Hereafter and he was on focus duty.
-
Just wait for the "must have black spindle" posts
-
If you are 290 at the start, won't you most likely be 295+ by the time you get to Oryx? My group did part of it Friday night (went in under leveled and blind just for grins and to experience it before seeingr/reading a bunch of spoilers) and we made it past all the jumping/ship riding to a place with 2 circles/totems and some acolytes kneeling - no loot drops to that point but we probably missed chests if there were any
-
Me and a buddy did the raid for the first time last night. We got to Oryx an hour and a half in. Only knew the basic mechanics. Some of the people with us were very helpful but couldn't get it together for oryx. We switched groups and found a group who had beaten it before and beat it within 2 hours. As long as you are a decent light with decent weapons and know the basic concept a completion shouldn't be required. It's the new trials emblem and new glowhoo.
-
3 RepliesYeh I agree I think 285 or 290 is ok to give it a go at least. People kept leaving when we wiped at checkpoints a few times tonight...can't learn if everyone keeps -blam!-ing off.
-
13 RepliesI post 290+ with experience because I want to get my raid done. I don't like needing to explain to people each fight 15 times.
-
4 Replies"Must be 300+ light". Bro! Why do you think I wanna do the damn raid!
-
My requirements for oryx are boobs and a cellphone. -blam!- light level. -blam!- oryx. Just -blam!- me.
-
It's always been like this, only "Must have Ghorn" was also a part of the prerequisite.
-
I have yet to see a single must be 300+ post and 290 is not asking alot considering oryx is 300. I have seen plenty of post about going in blind or not knowing about the raid so you can easily find a group to run with
-
Nobody expects everyone to know the mechanics. But if they're picking the team, they can include and exclude whoever they want. Just start your own group
-
I only have 1 requirement
git gud
-
2 RepliesI only have small requirements, nothing crazy: Need to be 500+ light, have all Exotic weapons and armor equipped, had to do each raid atleast 100 times, need to be able to use shield and sword while soloing Oryx.
-
Edited by JTtheLoneWOOF: 9/24/2015 9:04:18 PMYes. Made a post yesterday about this. I understand to an extent people asking for experience, but being so early in the game the posters could be more tactful in their post. My opinion of course.... Unfortunately There are a lot of obnoxious "elitists" in the mix that are more willing to yell and make fun of you, than be helpful and constructive in a newly implemented raid.
-
It's this type of shit that makes it hard to beat the raid. I can't even get in to oryx because I don't meet the requirements. "Must be 300", "must have completed it". Well...now what? I'm not in a place that I just hope I can get in a game.
-
I love the experience of doing raids blind. The thrill and feeling of going into a new environment is exhilarating and finding out how mechanics works makes it feel like you've just cracked the DaVinci code
-
It mostly comes down to skill, not raw light stats. We were doing the Deathsingers and we needed an extra player, again, thanks to rage quitting. The leader brought in a 288. Half the group was upset saying he would be useless. He ended up dealing more damage than the 294s in the group and was key to finishing successfully. Not to mention he had ZERO experience with the raid before this. Give people a chance, they can surprise you.
