Raid has been live for less than a week and people posting on LFGs are already setting qualifiers.
Ex: "295 light, must be experienced"
Really people!?
Some of us have yet to run KF, who are we supposed to run with? Not all of us have whole days to pump into this game.

Some people just want to hurry and get thier loot without having to teaching people and hold hands. I understand how it's aggravating that they want all these certain people with certain experience but that's just how it is.

1 ReplyI suggest starting your own group/thread with lower requirements. You can easily carry a person 290 or lower all the way through, but the truth is that for the oryx fight you really do need to be 295+ to be effective. I ran through at 288, but once the ogres spawn on oryx my dps deficiency became obvious.

1 ReplyThats too bad, i spent days getting ready, so i have my time invested. I'm not interested in sherpa'ing your ass through. Start your own thread: Raid finder, light +240 Experience not needed But please block off the next 48 hours to learn the mechanics and upgrade your weapons.

Join a clan don't LfG problem solved
-
TBH when most people raid. They raid to finish, not to carry. Me personally, if I started the KF raid only requirement would be at least 290 light. That's pretty much a given. Doesn't matter if you have experience or not. Everyone either has learned it or needs to learn it. Just be the required light only.
-
Start your own group with people like your self new to the raid Most People that ask for certain requirements don't want to spend hours doing the raid just want to get thru it quickly
-
1 ReplyI ask for experience when I'm sick of doing it with groups that can't stun oryx, I was desperate to finish my quests
-
Watch reddit. I saw someone offering a spot to anyone. I didn't get to it in time but there are people who will help run you through.
-
3 RepliesMan I've had 298 blue drops and you get a 300 relic for free

1 ReplyEdited by MowMdown: 10/6/2015 2:12:41 PMGet a group of guys who have not yet ran KF and run it, let me know how it goes My only complaint would be if you can't DPS a boss in that raid enough to get through. We can't raid together. I didn't start my first raid until I was 297 light I've only done it twice all the way through and I can honestly say I run it better than most people who've ran it more times than me.

Me and a friend (my friend had only completed to the first platform section) walked 4 other completely new players to the raid. Their levels were barely above 290. 2 didn't have sniper rifles. It took us 3 and a half hours, maybe 4 but we made it all the way to oryx before I eventually had to turn it in for the night. But let me tell ya, I had so much fun helping these individuals. Was it frustrating at times? Absolutely. But everyone remained positive and we grinded our way through the raid and many of them got some nice drops. Help out fellow guardians people. You, yourself may have some fun doing it.

Just post your own LFG, something like- Looking for x for fresh run, all you need is proper gear, a mic and a good attitude! Holla! Works every time
-
We did a test last night with my clan. We all geared uo so we has light levels from 290 up to 306. And then we got one of the clan members to be 258 light only, he was dealing the same damage as the rest of us to warpriest but yes he was being one shoted alot. Self res helped.

Follow my twitch channel [urlhttp://www.twitch.tv/vamp11213 [/url] Will be helping people run raids tonight when i get home

1 ReplyYou have to do the same thing as the people who were once in your shoes. Search for a team to show you how to play the raid. Or watch videos until you know what to do. I got to 297 without doing to raid so you just have to work for it. Can't have everything handed to you just because you don't play as much as others.

Edited by Kuraishi Sol: 10/6/2015 4:47:38 PMYeah it's too easy cant wait for hardmode
-
1 ReplyLol funny how that is. There mad cause they can't solo it or do it with just 2 ppl, like the past 2 raids. Feel sorry for ppl who are trying to cheese this one.
-
4 RepliesJust lie and pretend youre experieinced, get in group and follow everyones lead
-
All you people complaining about being excepted into a raid group. Start your own and look on LFG for people. Is it that hard? LMAO
-
1 ReplyThis is why they needed the ghorn, just play people. And no I haven't best it yet
-
Who cares? Set up your own group if its that much of a problem.
-
I don't even look for people who are already searching haha. I just make my own post and I get plenty of requests. And this way you're the party leader and therefore for have to adhere to anyone else's requirements. Hell, in my posts I make it clear that I don't care about experience because I myself am not all that experienced in the raid
-
I love helping new people as long as you can listen and are willing to try I don't mind taking people through, those who act like they know the feels and mechanics but end up showing that it is their first time piss me off, admit to your fault and learn, and we would be ok my only constraint is if you aren't 285+ by oryx then it will be harder on me, as for that I have had 270s join but only 2 at a time while me and my buddies take out oryx.
-
And this is why matchmaking is necessary with a time penalty (like warcraft) for leaving before the 1st boss. You can matchmake and learn the raid. Bungie are always trying to push their dreams and opinions on how they want their game played on us and fanboys usually back it up until a patch comes out that introduces what they all argued about and now love.
-
It's not ruined, just get some friends together. Or pretend you know what you're doing, that worked for me
-
i simply dont have time to teach people anymore, and it always ends up when i do help them whenever i need help they are suddenly unavailable, even though i still see you sitting in orbit and alternating between missions and stuff.
