DEAD ORBIT QUEST IS DUMB!
My faction rank in dead orbit on my warlock is 30 and i have no shader and no ship yet i need a shader for the quest to even start it. this makes me so mad that after 27 packages i get nothing at all and now i cant even do my quest. do you think this is funny because its not.... Do you just assume your RNG would give someone the shader and everything by 25? because not everyone does and it is happemning to alot of people.. FIX THIS PLEASE

18 RepliesDon't be mad.... the quest is long as f*ck!!!!! 250 enemy kills 10 weekly heroic strikes 150 pvp kills 10 pvp wins I did it yesterday and got an exotic class item I can't wear till 40 anyway!!!!! Be patient all good things come to those who aren't cry babies!!!

I opened 3 future war cult packages right after update (turned a bunch of materials in) and got a shader out of two of them. My friend got 2 dead orbit shaders same day. They have upped the chances of getting one by a lot! - Rathmara

Mine: Warlock = D.O. 53 & 2 Revenant Shaders Titan = D.O. 7 & Bitter Steel off a deleted character Hunter = D.O. 7, New Monarchy 3, grabbed the 2nd Revenant for this character. No ship... no Hanged Man, and no Nowhere Good luck though OP, hopefully you'll get a shader soon. They should create 1 shader for each faction, so those who haven't been lucky can just buy one, even if it is rare/blue quality.

They have fixed it. starting with TTk it will guarantee a legendary drop. and with the new loot system you will have a greater chance of getting the stuff you do not have

I just got the Bittersteel shader by ranking up to level 14. Just RNG I guess.

I got lucky enough to get 2 shaders so far (34 rank) but I'm agree with you.. Hopefully with ttk the shader drops increase drastically.. For the time being it's better NOT to finish that quest because isn't giving reward until ttk and won't be retroactive

Yup I think it's pretty funny hahahahahaha. No but really in the ttk they said they fixed the faction packages so you have a better chance at getting a shader

It's funny because I got recently at 22 nowhere at 23, hanged man at 24... Still waiting on bitter steel though.

3 RepliesI got the new monarchy quest on my warlock (which is the only fction I've gotten a shader for) so I'm almost done with the quest, I'll post my rewards, I hope it's the exotic faction class item.
