Bungie.....why do you not listen to us?
Dear Bungie,
I remember very vividly the day I got my first gjallarhorn. I was raiding VOG with my buddies, when we got to the exotic chest. I guess I overreacted a little bit, but then again, it is a god tier weapon. suddenly, the prospect of easier strikes, raids, and overall game was within my grasp. But today, you surprise me and the millions of people who play your game with the exotic weapon update. I thought the jellohorn would not even be touched, but there it was, bold as brass:
Nerfed wolfpack rounds.
My heart sunk somewhere about my small intestine and realized that you guys didn't get it. Gjallarhorn isn't supposed to be nerfed. it hasn't been sold by xur since week one for a reason: it's supposed to be super powerful. it is the exotic among exotic. heavy ammo drops rarely in pvp and gjallarhorn is designed for pve. It doesn't even take out bosses in one hit. it would take about 15 to 20 rockets with solar burn on a nf to take out a boss, and about 50 to 75 to take out a normal boss. Please bungie, I think your idea for thorn was great. nerfing the motd to 1/3, while allowing it to stack is a great way to balance the weapon. please don't nerf the coveted exotic into the ground of nonexistence.

they are just slightly lowering the secondary payload of the rocket... not nerfing it "into the ground of nonexistence" calm down no need to over react its not useless its just now only going to be slightly better than every other heavy in the freaking game instead of insanely better than every other heavy... why are people over reacting to this so bad? is this a running joke? did i miss the memo? is everyone just doing this "for the lulz" ?

10 RepliesI don't have a gjally but I'm am completely against the nerf because the logic is terrible. Here's my point if the people who complain about a weapon being to powerful are bad at this game or if they are not good with let's say the thorn or the last word and then bungie nerfs these particular guns and then said complainers play the game and are still not good what was solved? absolutely nothing except to piss off the people who have grinded to get these weapons. So all it does is punish the good players and then does nothing to elevate the bad players so everyone loses. Currently there is an even playing field and after the nerf it will still be a level playing field so nothing has been gained but god forbid we introduce logic into this. Signed someone who doesn't have a gjally but if I ever get 1 would prefer that it isn't ruined.

1 ReplySo your saying no one ever asked for a buff to auto rifles?! Dude they try and u have to give them credit for that, sure they will ad some unneccesary needs and buffs but they do a good job. I mean they never made a game like this before they r just beginning! Destiny 2 will be a lot better though
