99% of players can't cross the bridge on Crota with out the cheese!!
It's infuriating that quite literally no one on the forums can do this. Everyone is a 34 coz it's so easy to be one, and yet they can not do Crota without wiping. If you can not do this you really are the definition of a terrible player.
Edit note:
If you can do it I'm obviously not talking about you. And those that don't know how to do it, ask and your be shown. It's much better than the cheese. And those that think I'm exaggerating, go find a team from recruitment and let me know how that goes!
I retract my previous comment "if you can not do this your the very definition of a terrible player" The next time your at the bridge try and do it. If you don't the first time just cheese and try another day. It would be nice to see it done by a majority. Your just cheating yourself out of the game.

3 RepliesReally, 99%? Where's your stat sheet? I will guarantee you that the majority of players know how to do it, it's just easier to to cheese it and not waste time because of a screw up. When you cheese you don't have to worry about someone screwing up nearly as much.

I had done Crota many times before I did it legit. No one ever wanted to and I didnt know how. Its really easy though and a lot more fun

It's really sad. You are completely right about it. The first week it came out I did it legit and it was really fun but after the cheese came out I was literally the only one that wanted to do it legit in every single fireteam I joined. So you are correct in saying 99%. So lame.

People simply don't want to take the time to do it. It's sad, as a gamer I personally prefer to do it as I like the challenge, but I don't know why everyone else just likes to rush through things. What's the point in gaming if your objective is to get it done as quickly as possible?

Anyone can do it, it's a matter of cheesing being easier and quicker. Crotas End is poorly designed with far too few interesting mechanics. If I play it I'm running through it for materials, I don't care to do things "the right way".

Honestly, I cheese it because it's quick, and can solo on hunter with the bones on eao, but it's not that hard to do properly, provided everyone listens and works together. Personally when I do it properly we have one player on each plate then have a "guardian" sniping or dropping grenades to make sure they don't die. Of course if they do there is a backup to jump on. If anyone ever wants to be shown how to do it, add me on psn.

cheesing the bridge is like cheesing the Templar in VoG. its no fun just sitting there sniping everything, you do it the right way its more fun. imo

I still believe that making raid armour obsolete with every dlc was the biggest injustice bungie has done to all it players.

It's not about being a terrible player by "cheesing", is more so the fact that the gameplay mechanics for the bridge encounter is flawed. There are many ways to cross the bridge, both solo and in a group. One of the most quickest and efficient way is to swing across, despawn enemies etc. As players, we've outsmarted its intended design.

It's not that they can't, it's that they're too nooby to build the bridge they don't know about it, building the bridge is actually much easier than jumping across
