Do you agree that anyone that started playing Destiny after 9/9/14 (Day 1) does not deserve VIP Rewards?

What about those of us who ground out day 1 with old gen consoles, then wised up around November and Then re ground on next gen systems? Am I not a day one filthy casual any more? My few remaining vannila pieces of gear say yes. Yes I am. I am still a year one filthy casual.

I purchased the game on day 1 didn't start playing for a month. Still a day 1 player as I did purchase on release. No I don't agree

No at least make it 9/15/14 instead because some stores in a lot of places did not have day one like me. But yes I have a friend just got the game with both dlc's and will get VIP rewards

7 RepliesI don't see a point in why people whine so much about not getting extra content for playing the game before somebody else. It doesn't and shouldn't entitle you to anything else, just because you played the game earlier doesn't make you special. People that whine about extra content should pay attention to the fact that most games don't reward you for playing the game before others. This is pathetic to see forum after forum dedicated to complaining, grow up guys.

Maybe not complitly from the start, but first month or so. And the pricetag for the new dlc is just redicules. And the bonus is preserved for the ones willing to pay even extra, just to get the game an 2 dlc's they most likely already own..

I got the game maybe a couple of weeks after the release... Bought the season pass... And have been grinding ever since. I don't think excluding players like me for not having the game the day of release would be very ethical. Why? Because I'm just as much a veteran as anyone that had the game 14 days sooner. If you want to argue that day 1 players get something even nicer than what's already being offered to all vets... Go nuts. But people like me earned their place by supporting this game very early on, just like the day 1 players.

No because one of my friends pre-ordered the game and wasn't able to play it at all until shortly before the House of wolves DLC because of all the bugs

Anybody that played before December 25 should get rewards. which will make it so that all the Christmas noobs and the people that decided to jump in during the expansions don't get crap. The guardians that were there for vault of glass and all of that in the beginning should get rewards. [spoiler]farming for mats on planets better have an reward out of it.[/spoiler]

1 ReplyI think it should be based on playtime and when you bought the game. Maybe 10-15 days of playtime would be reasonable since most of my friends have about that amount of time played in destiny.

2 RepliesI think if you didn't buy the game as soon as it came off the distribution truck, immediately put it in your console that you had plugged up at the store and you didn't get finished leveling up to 30 before the games got stocked on the shelves, you deserve to have your game taken and smashed on the ground in front of you, you god damn scrub.
