What is the best shotgun other than Felwinter's lie? *cough* Felwinter's Sniper *cough*
Include normal stats and the best perks to try and re roll for
And how to obtain it.
*Thank You for all the posts tomorrow I am going to farming crucible for the matador because Lord of Wolves Can't be my Exotic all the time!

The found verdict is better than a felwinter's lie imo. I have both maxed out and prefer to use my found verdict.

I think the party crasher is better, even though I have yet to get one to drop for me. I have a matador, but it just doesn't compare. The small sliver of range that the felwinter has on it makes a huge difference. Plus I think the projectiles on the winter are naturally more grouped than the matador.

Matador 64, Party Crasher +1, and Judgement VI are all really good shotguns with high range and the ability to re-roll for the best shotty perks (rangefinder, shot package, etc). They've each got the ability to be equal or better than Felwinter's. Personally, I prefer Found Verdict which is only obtainable through the VoG.

Just grind for the felwinter's lie. The matador has better stats but does not compare for some strange reason regardless of stats. I tried all three fully maxed with similar rolls to my Felwinter. Here is a vid on how to use a shotgun! https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/136423766/0/0/1

Gotta say Party Crasher with shot package is beautiful. My friend has a Felwinters Sniper and he actually said he liked my Party Crasher more than Felwinters because it felt like it had the same range and impact but better fire rate.

Party crasher and matador are nearly identical with the right roll. Their impact and range really is identical it's the other stats that vary just a tiny amount.

2 RepliesHonestly you don't need a high impact shotgun, the new dead orbit shotgun you can buy from the vendor is great you can get quick shots off and it has a decent amount of range in surprised nobody really uses it, oh yeah everyone prefers are crutch shotgun.

Yesterday I would have said Found Verdict or Invective. However, I rolled a Party Crasher with shot package and luck in the chamber that I absolutely obliterated people with. I set a new personal best for kills in a game (31) with it. So I'm gonna say Party Crasher +1.
