Do yourself a favor and go buy ESO. It will make you rethink every hour you spent on this broken game. ESO is amazing.
Edit: Console version is a lot better than the pc in this case. Get the console version.

It's not a very good game compared to the freedom of regular Elder Scrolls games. But I don't see why you'd compare the two. They have completely different gameplay. One is swords and sorcery and the other is a shooter. It's like comparing an action comedy film to a nature documentary. They're different things entirely. :\

ESO sucks. Worst purchase ever. Runescape was a better game.

Eso: the game that launched on PC and was a total disaster and then launched on console almost completely unchanged and people love it
-
Got it and I have just been doing quests and trying to find dungeons. I feel like I'm missing a part of the game. Only level 15 I haven't tried pvp yet

Eso = ehhh so?

9 RepliesIt broke me of my Destiny habit. I'm a rabid fan of Bethesda's work, specifically The Elder Scrolls single-player series. Zenimax did a good thing with TESO for consoles. I have rediscovered how fun games can be. I'm happily Questing around Morrowind in TESO, getting mats, making items for newer players and selling them to them in-game. I've played it on the PC since it launched as a steaming pile of shame, and watched it evolve into a really great MMO over the last year. The console version is gorgeous as all of us PC Gamers pretty much did a one-year Beta test for the console versions. lol But it plays great and is astoundingly fun. I can easily play this until the next Elder Scrolls single-player comes along, and will probably keep playing it even after that. There's 1,000 times the content in TESO's starting areas than there is in all of Destiny, and that's damn awesome. Love TESO, great job to Zenimax and Bethesda on a fantastic MMO. Love it.

5 RepliesI'm only level 6 in ESO and I'm already getting tired of the fetch quests. Destiny is way more fun, mainly because of the gunplay. ESO's movement just feels clunky and the battle system is weird. Plus, the fetch quests. Ugh.
-
2 RepliesJust enjoy both wtf is up with these threads
-
Console version isnt better, but it probably has a larger player base.
-
ESO is great and all, that's just cause I'm bored of destiny right now. Only reason I play it is to upgrade weapons to 365 before the taken King and hopefully Traveler willing, I will get a gjallarhorn

Let's compare 2 games that aren't even the same genre. I don't think this will be very productive if a discussion lol.

Eso is great I haven't had much server issues as some have mentioned. But the port is still pretty new and server maintenance is better than sever outage. Eso is a true mmorpg unlike destiny who is still young and trying to figure itself out albeit made by a "veteran" company that "earned" a reputation Destiny is still finding it's way. ESO is worth a try for anyone looking for loads of quest and story and a good degree of character customization. I divide my time between both Destiny and ESO and I'm having fun with both ESO however is proving to be very entertaining.

I need a new game addiction. Destiny is a broken drug & ESO will do nicely.
