2 RepliesOmg everyone is so stupid. I can't stand the bitching. If $40 is too much for you then don't buy it. This "expansion" is basically another full game with a lot more content. Everyone expects the story and all the content to be thrown at them right from the start. Don't you people understand that bungie has plans for this game well into the future? So what, you guys want the entire story now all at once so there is no gameplay value for other dlc? I'm actually happy it's $40 because I thought it was going to be $60. If you don't appreciate the game, don't play it.

Damm, i really Should of made a US account a Long time ago, apart from conversion rate from gbp's getting me more, it's allways, allways less on US store.. plus not to mention delayed, even missing forever stuff we EU store peeps 'accept' as normal service, i'd say 'maybe soon' but i just know i won't.. said it to many times yet here i still am.

I'm still on board with bungievision but they must be out of their minds. If they are treating this like an mmo then their expansion costs ten more dollars than world of warcraft's, we know which has more content. If they are treating this like a fps then their expansion is the same price as a cod/battlefield pass. Arguable which has more content. If they are treating it like a story driven experience then we will compare it to witcher 3's pass which is only twenty five dollars and will have more content. I love this game but I don't know if I can stick with activision if they are going to treat this game like a dlc cash cow. Like everyone else I'll wait till e3 to determine if it's worth it's rumored price.

It should be noted that the witcher 3 gets free dlc. Halo 5 is getting free mp maps. Hell even splatoon gets free maps and weapons. Freaking nintendo is doing dlc better.

Depends on how much they add personally. Needs to be an entirely new area (Chicago or EU dead zone) along with 2 raids (HoW raid and a new one) and 3+ strikes. Also the only "cut content" was TDB and HoW. And the story was terrible because the original writer left halfway through for Game of Thrones.

2 RepliesIt is supposedly coming with a new raid, as many new strikes and missions as vanilla destiny had, a new social space, and new a new subclass for each character. I'm not knocking it until I see more, which is what will happen at the next E3.

Honestly I doubt people understand how a company works. If there is no cash flow, there is no company. If they decided to be "nice" and give out all dlcs for free do you think they'd be making a profit? Maybe or maybe not. However selling an expansion every so long guarantees a certain amount of money to keep going. Be glad they dont charge a subscription fee. For example wow you have to pay $15 a month plus you have to pay for the expansions. In destiny there is content people without the expansion can do that it still worth it. They can still get to the max light level even without it, in WoW every expansion makes the older content useless. I honestly dont understand what people bitch about so much. Its a fun game, the price is no where ridiculous. Now you say that we didnt get what they promised. I dont understand that. That to me sounds like you feel entitled to something. You do realize products are subject to change, also how dont you know things are going to keep unveiling. You have to realize this is a game that will take years for the whole story to be revealed. If they do it all now just to make people that bitch about the lack of story happy what would happen? No more story, then after that people would bitch about having expansions that make no sense and add little if not at all story to the lore.

Look you may have a point but you don't have all the facts ,for instance if you have been with bungie for a long time you would know this is not something they would do note the this all happened when they paired with Activision , the prices went up the story got cut and things went to crap ,but that's Activision trying to bankrupt bungie to get them out of the Fps race and if we give in who know what happens to bungie so I'm sticking by bungie and saying it's worth it and for those who do as well may the light be with you guardians.
