I'm not gonna lie, I had this gun sitting in my vault for months. My second exotic after I purchased the red death from xur, I was excited after winning it............after joining a vanguard strike 2 seconds before it ended. Lol. At first I was excited, then I realized it was a primary shotgun. I was falling in love with hand cannons and didnt want to loose any range. I tried it, in pve and pvp, no upgrades, didnt like it. Store it for months, won a 331 version, store it for another two months. Having the ferocious shotgun skills I have now, combined with my ability to plug your socket from unseen ranges with a hand cannon, I decided to give the Universal Remote Another chance. After all, I don't believe in wasting or dissembling exotics, save for no land beyond. What the f*ck is this weapon? Really? (Ok, I still have one in case they do something with it). Getting back on topic, after my first game of pvp with the weapon, after ugrading it to main perk I became,......attached to it. After 7-8 matches in a row with 30+ kills, then doing the same day after day ( I usually get 20+) with a shotgun, primary shotgun at that I was amazed. Rarely in any situation did I switch to my fusion rifle. In fact I recall using it 3 times over 16 matches. I did use it a few times to scare the shit out of people though lol. [u][b]Main Point------->[/b][/u] I heard alot of people talk shit about this shotgun. oooooh, invectives better, oooo0h, found verdict, oooh, dont waste an exotic. Doesn't have as much impact as others. waaah. Slow rate of fire waaaah. Slow reload. Lies!!! I can't one shot people from long range. I wondered why people were bad with it then it occurred to me that people misunderstand this weapon. I t seems that im one of the only people to understand this weapon. Unlike most shotguns this is not a childs splash gun for close quarters, this is as the bonus states a precision shotgun. This gun is designed for "long" range precision kills. It is not designed for long range body shots. Thats why it doesnt have as much impact as others. The Universal Remote is best served by upper body shots. It has nearly twice the range of most shotguns, however its low impact prevents people from being instakilled by body shots from range. However, upper body shots will do a large amount of damage. I can cleave peoples shields off or outright kill them from nearly twice the range of other shotguns, and I have other long ranged shotguns. Why can I do this?[u] [b]All pellets/projectiles from the universal remote cause bonus precision damage. Even if you don't get a head shot, there are pellets that still strike for precision hits.[/b] [/u] As you can see in some of my videos I get people from ads upper body shots. Any missed kills that I have were due to me not placing my sights correctly. I have saved 10 videos with the UR and have uploaded 3 or 4 so far. Check them out.
