How does the game determine who holds the flag in crucible?
Just curious cause I was playin with my friends. My one friend, his Gamertag is Zoom Past, was the one holding the flag everytime.
We are both lvl 32 and I have way more Grimoire score, I have 2560 and he has 2150, so I just thought I would be holding it.
Anyone know how the game figures it out?
EDIT: Seems some people are saying light level. We were both level 32 and both of us were not the fireteam leader, yet he had the flag everytime. So my question is what other factors determine it?

I was about to ask "Destiny doesnt have ctf..." Then i realized i havent been in pvp for a couple weeks

2 RepliesHighest level then it's random after that. I'm 32 and sometimes I hold flag and sometimes I don't.

I narrowed it down to one of two things, if you switch armour around to level up then the 32 who holds the flag has been 32 longer, or, who ever has the higher combat rating.

The one who has the highest light in the team. If two people are of the same light, it just picks one randomly.

After I had a break from Destiny a whole ago, I never held the flag until about 3 weeks later, now I'm almost always the one holding the flag.
