How important is velocity in a rocket launcher? I just got the admonisher III and it has pretty low velocity, so should I still use it cause blast radius and stability are both higher than ghorn

If it has tracking rounds, I prefer low velocity. So they can see the missile before it kills them.
-
1 ReplyBlast radius is mostly all I care about.
-
It's pretty important, Unless You are Fighting a stationary target.
-
1 ReplyIf it has tracking, velocity doesn't matter as much, but it's still more important than other stats. You might be able to do a lot of damage, but it doesn't matter if you can't hit it.
-
Velocity is just how fast the rocket moves, it just affects how you aim. Troll this post if it helped.
-
Pretty important esp if the launcher doesn't have tracking
-
If it's tracking you want low velocity so the rocket has longer to track and can make better lateral and vertical curves. Other than that idk
-
Not at all. I have Ballerhorn so it tracks
-
Speed is everything.
-
Speed is key if you dont have tracking
-
1 ReplySpeed is key
-
Unless you have tracking, expect to be standing fairly close to your target to hit anything.
-
Gotta go fast
-
Even if its not the most important qaulity, if it has low velocity you won't usually get a better experience out of it then you would one that has high velocity.
-
Very important

Read up on Einstein

2 RepliesVelocity is the speed at which the rocket approaches its target. The higher the velocity the quicker it flies to your target. The answer to your question depends on what your doing.... its not something anyone of us can decide for you.

ask Lewis HAMILTON lol like my car 0_60mph 3.9 secs lol
-
It is most important for crota. That way it can hit quickly
-
High velocity is better cause you can land your shots quicker. If it's low than your target had already had the time to wash his car, pick up his kid from soccer practice and make dinner! The faster the better! Also faster rate of fire is Gucci too.
-
2 RepliesGhorn is much much better
-
Low velocity would be terrible against crota since he likes to move. But for most uses its fine.
-
The only time I really factor non velocity is when the launcher does not have tracking. The velocity will get it there faster. A slow rocket with no tracking means higher chance your enemy will move.
-
4 RepliesLook at Truth. It shoots too slow to hit anything. That's what velocity does. It's the speed that it shoots at.
-
It depends how far away you are from your target but stability is pretty useless in a rocket launcher
-
Some targets tend to dodge low velocity rockets at a distance, the faster your rocket hits it's intended target the better off you are. Now if you have tracking as a perk, it's a bit more useful but dodging still may happen, at that point it becomes a situational game I would think lol.
