Bounty Trick Cheating - FIX THIS
Bungie,
I assume you know about the bounty trick that if you are logged in at reset time you will see the new bounties for the day and can complete them. Then log out and come back and they will be there again for you to do.
Basically earning yourself double the rep and XP daily. Many people have been exploiting this bug and have reached Eris Rank 4, unlocking very important trades for shards and other required items.
It is unreasonable to ask people to be up for reset everyday and for those who do not have the lifestyle to wake up early everyday they cannot take advantage of this.
Either fix it or provide more bounties daily so people who cannot take advantage of this do not get left behind.
This should be fixed soon or have a new system put in place to allow everyone to gain extra rep and XP daily.
I would also appreciate if people replied to this civilly instead of repeated threats since you are worried Bungie will take your exploit away.
If you believe it is fine to keep this glitch in, then there should be a way for everyone to have the chance at double XP and rep no matter your time zone.
Other vendors are not a big deal but Eris has become more important due to her shard/energy trade and other items needed to upgrade weapons like Murmur.
It is not a race, but it is unfair for people who have busy lives and cannot be up until late hours of the night on a daily basis.
I hope this post makes Bungie and the community aware of this. Whether to exploit it for those who did not know or for Bungie to allow for everyone to get more rep and XP daily.

I don't see it as a cheat! I think of it as an exploit to a problem that needs to be fixed. It's unfair for the people who do not have the time to do it.

I honestly don't see a problem with it. If someone stays up to 4 am just to get more xp that is some serious dedication and I think its fine to reward that dedication. I also don't really see a negative effect, why do you care if someone else hits a rank before you? Does it have an impact on you personally?

I have to agree with you. There are those of us who are not fortunate enough to not have to work for a living that can't be up at all hours (Reset Time) to be able to take advantage of the extra XP daily. There does need to be a way for everyone to be able to have the same advantages when it comes to the double rep and XP. I also Feel the having to be a level 4 before getting access to the upgrade materials you need is pure B.S. but what do I know.

I have no problem with people double dipping bounty. The rewards are too inconsistent to leave it up to chance. So I say guarantee your results.

You have to be awake at the reset time, that alone needs lots of dedication. Depending on where you're currently living, and not all bounties appear. It's usually 3 or 4. Vanguard, crucible and faction mail might have something useful, or it might have trash. Mostly trash. At this point pretty much everyone is rank 3 at all factions. If it weren't for the trades and the 3 motes of light bounty, Eris would be a useless npc. Unless you're into Murmur, keveling Crota's Bane is not exactly worth it. There's also the Necrochasm, but... High ROF, low impact ARS? No thanks. How fast or slow other players progress in their game has 0 effect on me, why would I complain about something like that? It sounds like you're saying "I can't use it, so nobody else can!" I don't think it's worth it to be awake everyday at 4am to get a couple of extra bounties, but if other people are having fun with it, let them be.

Did kids keep the ball away from you at recess? Did your mom take your plate away before you were done eating? why dafuq you want to ruin oportunities for others just because you can't take advantage of the same oportunity 100%. Also why do you even care how much xp people are earning in comparison to you?

Who isn't level 4 Eris already? She's been out long enough that you should already be level 4. Quit worrying about what other people do worry about yourself.

Consider the people that live stream on twitch or YouTube for income. They need a way to be ahead of most of us to bring us info, tips and tricks etc. Also it is available to everyone my reset is 4:00 am, sometimes I miss it but sometimes I take advantage. My point is if you are not negatively impacted why are you attempting to negatively impact others?

They know. It's been like that since launch and the biggest way you can tell is the fact the iron banter bounties were the same 6 every day with no rotation or alterations. That was how they stop it with that. Now granted you can't do that with normal bounties because it would get old fast doing the same 6 over and over again however I think you are overthinking this because the best they are getting out of this is getting to rank 4 with Eris faster Other than that it's not worth the effort. You are getting gear up quicker but you could save yourself the red eye and alternate the gear with characters that haven't done the bounties you have, heck that gives you a 3rd time to do that with three characters. As for the rank up of other classes it's still RNG at its worse. You could get cool shaders or shards and coins, worthless gear or a weapon with a bad loadout. Atm I feel as an exploit its just not worth the effort.

I will never understand why people feel the need to cry about every little thing when it doesn't even affect them. You're not getting left behind bc you can't upgrade murmur to say so is idiotic. If you aren't willing to put in the extra work why would you think you deserve extra xp?

It is not affecting your game in any way or mine. A chunk of 32's didn't double bounty and just levelled a new character over and over and did new raid to get shards quickly.

When you say it is "unreasonable" to ask people to stay up that late... pretty sure Bungie isn't asking you of that. Saying it's unfair for people who have busy lifestyles that others can level faster. It's a game, it waits for no one. The world isn't going to slow down because you are busy I've got two jobs, and two kids. If I can't play, or stay up late for a reset, I'm not not going to ask Bungie to change things. I understand this is am exploit people are using and that maybe one day Bungie will patch it, but I'm not concerned if other people are able to aquire a shader, and trade a couple energies for shards so they can level up their PVE gear. It has absolutely no bearing whatsoever on my playing experience.

Stop getting butt hurt with what people do in a video game. It's honestly not that big of a deal. Your post does nothing and if bungie wanted to fix it they would have/or will fix it.
