Is it the weird guys that wish they were girls do it? What's the reason?
If you're a guy and play as a girl, you might want to rethink your sexuality!
But hey, if you're a guy playing as a girl character, comment your reasons.

Because tits

You enjoy watching a guy run around and dancing for hours and hours? I'd rather see my female warlock dance around and smash on enemies any day
-
G.I.R.L as in Guy In Real Life
-
I play as a girl so when in third person I can be looking at a girl player and not a guy. Who wants to watch some dipshit male player jumping up and down with those goofy dance moves

4 RepliesEdited by jayden : 12/27/2014 8:13:16 PMMy reasons 1. A good view in the tower. 2. Smaller body (harder to hit in pvp). 3. Males look stupid and puffed out. 4. Female protagonist are more interesting. 5. Why not? Why does it matter? 6. Would rather look at female not a brute because that is how most males are portrayed.

I play as a male hunter and warlock, but I'm disgusted at how male titan looks like the grind out stereotypical super soldier. The armor is bully and I get that, but it is just too generic. At least female Titans don't have hypersexualised armor and it seems to be functional. Also, being a female striker just adds to the joys of hulk smash.

One of my friends plays as a girl, cos I made his character for him and just put it like that, made for a good 5 minute laugh and potential banter in the future. Some people don't get a choice, unless they want to level a new character just to change gender, but effort for that is unworthy.

I don't get why this bothers so many people. I personally hate it when I have all male characters. That's weird in my opinion so, I usually make at least one female character. I've done it since D&D. Also, some character models just look a lot better. Like the male hunter seems crazy unproportional compared to the game hunter. Where as the female Titan just seems off compared to the male Titan. So, yeah there's my reasoning TL;DR: Nobody needs to f***ing explain themselves to you.

I don't have a female character in destiny yet but I did in wow and skyrim, no reason really. Sometimes I think it's fun to make a character look like my gf
-
I did it :) I stare at that nice ass all day in the tower hahah
-
I wonder the same but hey to each his own. Also some ppl play them Cruz they're smaller than males. May help in pvp
-
And if your so jaded that you think the only reason would be as you stated then you need to rethink your own humanity. I play as a female but i also have male characters, it all depends on what ones look better in the armor i want in the ned, OR if i am Roleplaying i make my characters gender based on the story that they are part of. I am growing tired of seeing these stupid post of people whom are so insecure about their own sexuality that they must pick on and ATTEMPT to find flaws in others who play the opposite gender in games.

I'm a female hunter because shes tidy
-
I was bored and said -blam!- it. But I never play on that character so it's whatever to me
-
I saw how the girl Exo was dancing and I was like, Oh Snap! So I made one. I don't think there is a real problem tho. I see what your getting at and yeah it's kinda of weird but it isn't a big deal.
-
Because I wanted a better dance
-
Me and my GF -blam!- everyday and I use a female character because 1)The option is there 2)They look better than some male characters.
-
I have one female character because how many female Exos do you really see around Destiny? I've only seen two and I've been playing since the Beta.

6 RepliesEdited by AGG Terabit: 12/27/2014 7:15:07 PMI play as a chick because every game I've played before I was a male, its just something new plus I'd rather stare at a females ass all day then a males

Honestly, Because I can. I'm 30 yrs old, I grew up gaming where the only badass girl hero was Samus. So now given the option of M/F I chose F as I did with COD ghost. Has nothing to do with armor or staring at an ass on a sparrow, simply put it again is because I can.
No need to question my sexuality with a wife, and 2 kids
Girl characters do more damage its confirmed

It does not automatically mean one is gay for choosing a character of a different sex than themselves on a video game. It is a fantasy game. It is an outlet for people to take part in a fantasy of their creation. I made a female character because I thought it would be cool and different. Also it seemed a good fit for a Hunter. Simple as that. :)

I think it's funny to see a skinny figure decimate a group of guardians with Havic Fist
-
Why not. I have a male hunter and a female hunter and warlock. Just enjoy the change of pace and also feel the Armour sets look better ok a female
