I've been hearing that they are legal to use. Is this true? I would like to know, not sure if it benefits you in PVP or in Destiny overall. If anyone has insight into this let me know!
Any recommendations on modded controllers. How does this one look and sound to you? I honestly just want the rapid fire to shoot my scout rifles without having to lift my finger.

Edit: I think everyone is getting the wrong idea. I have an illness that I cramp with repetitive movements. Lifting my finger up and down for a long time cramps my hands up. I have VoC but I don't want to be limited to that weapon. I only ask to find out if it works to fire in full auto, same fire RATE. I'm not looking to increase the rate of fire of guns to work in my benefit. Sorry for not stating this earlier.

Rapid fire with red death???
-
In game, no. As long as you aren't modding the game code to fire faster anything you get well just be firing as fast as a skilled player.
-
You won't get in trouble. There are people with disabilities who need special controllers for example. The only modification I've seen on a controller that would be considered a problem would be the embedded lag switch. Even that isn't detectable in a controller as its not actually connected to anything but the ethernet port.

1 ReplySeems like we aren't sure lol.

3 RepliesDepends on what degree their controller is modded, lag switches, hell no, a scuff with button panels (If you're not sure what they are, check their site), absolutely fine. Lag switches break the game -literally- a scuff (or other brands like it) enhances the game, or improves ergonomics. Counter arguments are valid for this though, not for lag switches, but for other things may consider game breaking.

I have a SCUF controller And seeing as how I allow myself to use it, I hafta say it is allowed

Normally you would have to rng the firing in full auto stat. (Except the weapons with perm bonuses like VOC) . For some people taking their finger off the trigger to refire makes no difference. To me it's a huge advantage.

well in my eyes the thing you linked to is cheating, but who cares, right?

4 RepliesGuns fire rates are limited so go knock yourself out

3 RepliesModded controllers are for little bitches. Is k/d that important to you that you'll spend the money on a modded controller? That's pretty lame. Losers. Play legit haha.
-
Lol I can see maby if it's a tournament or something buy just online gameplay no way
-
Whats the difference

Find a geek to wire in a foot pedal for the trigger on your controller. Also try using the help forum here (bungie pays more attention to it) and put in a better title... like "help for controls for players with MS". Sorry you have to suffer thru with it, but with luck we will find a better treatment.

8 RepliesA rapid fire controller isn't against the game rules, also it isn't beneficial unless it's in your case. Shop around though don't buy anything that costs more than $75
-
No it's against the terms and conditions for both Xbox and Playstation to use a modded controller, but go ahead because it's rather hard to get caught using one
-
It makes no difference no gun has a fast enough fire rate for it to mayter
-
You should put a "I have no -blam!-ing idea" option. For people such as me who have no idea and only came for results
-
5 RepliesCan u get one ? Yes Would it help with your MS ? Might but you would have to try it in non multiplayer . Can it get ur console permaban ? Oh yes Your better off going for an avenger shell As I recall they were first designed with disabled people in mind and do not fall into the hardware mod category

1 ReplyYes they are fine, these dumbasses on the forum just don't want you using one because they are the self ruling vigilante of the Internet
-
1 Replywould would the game even recognize that your using a modded controller....? i can understand how the game would recognize modded game play like a lag switch but something like a modded controller to do something like fire a scout rifle like a autorifle they wouldnt be able to tell i can imagine. the fire rate will remain the same regardless, same for an auto reload function

1 ReplyI mod my controller. My dremel tool grinds a nice grip into it, much more comfortable.

19 RepliesEdited by bjw: 3/31/2015 1:04:19 AMWhy would you want to use a modded controller? Are you that bad ?
-
Who need to spend that on a controller lol
-
I know they banned people for using modded consoles before. If you have an extenuating circumstances they would probably make an exception for you. It would be a lot hard for them to tell if your controller is modded though I would imagine.

Got one from that exact website, controller cost me 250$ cause I added a bunch of shit to it. Not worth it at all. Rapid fire only allows the weapon to be fired at its Max fire rate. Works pretty well with scouts and pulse rifles but makes autos go crazy. Not worth it dude, scuff controller would be a better buy.
