Those are the two ugliest guns in the game. They look straight out of Lord of the Rings I swear they should've called them Gandolf's Revenge and Frodo's Firearm.

I've had the Thorn for 2 months and I can safely say.. It's still reloading from my first magazine.

Overpowered? They are the worse exotics in the game, but also the hardest to acquire, aside from exotics that only drop in Raids. All of the other guns can be bought from Xur or won in Nightfall and are much better than the exotic bounty weapons you have to actually work for and do chain quests and crucible for...the latter part alienating those who hate PVP, such as my buddy, who will not touch PVP and dislikes being reminded about how much he sucks(his words). I haven't touched Bad JuJu or Thorn in over a month. Bad JuJu is a joke. You dump a clip at a Knight's head and his shield barely moves, you have to reload 3-4 times in order to just get the shields down on an enemy. Against unshielded enemy, it's fantastic because you never have to reload, but in a strike, all practicality goes out the window. I did recently play my wife's character and noticed that Thorn's draining/ poison/ bleed-out effect is worse. It used to drain at a rate of -32hp/ sec, for approximately 3 seconds...sometimes in the low 40's depending on the enemy. Now, I never see it go beyond -18/ sec...but mostly is around -7/ sec. Maybe it puts out higher damage, though? Now? Because it didn't seem to suck as much as it did just a few weeks prior to that. The reloading is still too painful to make it worth while, though...may as well take a good scout rifle. In my opinion, Exotic bounty weapons should be the best. They require you to do chain quests/ bounties and all of them require you, to some degree, to perform a weekly heroic or nightfall, in addition to crucible accomplishments. That's a lot of work to do, especially if you are not into Crucible. If I recall, Bad JuJu required you to complete 25 strikes...that's a ton, and to think you can buy much better weapons, with no effort, from Xur.
