My first ever Legendary Engram...
I've played this game since it came out and have not received any Legendary Engrams.
Today, I got my first one and was so excited to get my first (hopefully) Legendary weapon.
Got to the Cryptarch and he turns it into the Universal Remote....ha.
Finally, Destiny is on my side.
...or so I thought...
...turns out, it's not that great a weapon. At close range it does worse than my Rare Shotgun (I hate shotguns, I can't use them. Prefer snipe), does anyone else that has this weapon agree? Or am I using it wrong?

I didn't mean for this to come across as a complaint. Just a share of my events and to see if anyone else uses it and to what advantages etc.
I'm aware how lucky I am to receive an Exotic through a Legendary.

I've got a few legendary engrams, but never an exotic from one.

once you spec it for range and have unlocked the Universal Remote perk, that's when it gets better.

The only time I ever went afk in crucible I got legendary boots engram... Wrong class but more shards for me!

Saw my first legendary engram today while patrolling comsmodrome. It turned into Titan gauntlets. The one class I don't have anywhere near 20

1 ReplyGot Gjallarhorn in my first legendary engram after the engram update :) I like the universal remote. It really gets alot better once you unlock its unique perk, universal remote, like most exotics. It has about 3 times the range of any other shotgun used. I ran it in the crucicble once i got the perk, and it absolutely wrecks! I liked it mostly because i can run a shotty sniper setup.
