The Greatest Cryday of them all...
Today has the possibility to be the greatest Cryday we've seen with Xur selling TLW. However, I'm voting for Suros. I was there that day. I could tell you...

This thread is getting necro'd because when it was posted (First Xur TLW), I didn't think Cryday could be any more intense. Today's icebreaker sale is proving me wrong.

Suros brought out the cry babies (I want to be special) Icebreaker, most seemed to be on board with. (Raid: "everyone pull out your ice breakers") The Last Word brought out the hipsters. (I was using it before it was cool)

Friday will always be flooded with bitter tears from the moaning, self important feeling children, it would'nt matter what Xur sold, he could sell a slingshot and a bag of pebbles and there would still be a flood of tears that would worry Noah.

There are many tales told throughout the Forum to frighten players. Lately, those tales have stopped. Now... the players are frightened anyway. Xur is coming back. We will not survive it this time

4 RepliesI would say its the day Last Word was sold, but the sheer amount of "Bungie pls nerf" threads after Suros was sold was ridiculous. I have yet to see a single post about Last Word being OP since Xur sold it, which is saying something.

For sure the worst forum day was the first time suros was up for sale. Not only were people shell shocked from having suros be on sale, but it was the first time an A+ weapon was available from xur. I needed an umbrella and a nice boat to survive all the tears that day.

Gjallahorn being sold very early on, it's hands down the best weapon for any boss.. chiefly among them the end of the raid.

4 RepliesThe best would be if defying all logic and expectation they had Xur sell Hawkmoon. So many people are secure in the fact that they are safe from having that weapon commonized. I predict a flood of tears on a Noah proportion. P.S. I have Hawkmoon and still want this to happen.

1 ReplyI got my Suros Regime with the first legendary engram that I got 3 days later since the release date, then I never got an exotic weapon from legendary's. I let pass the Icebreaker from Xur, and never got that snipe till today, and personally I think that the Fatebringer is a better hand gun than TLW.

2 RepliesI literally just got my last word last week by soloing the nightfall, and I must say.. Personally it doesn't bother me one bit that Xur is selling it right now. Why should it? I've bought exotics, and I've earned some, it makes no difference.

Suros was ugly. TLW, will not get nearly the same amount of use. When folks realize that PvP with it is not as easy as the youtubes they watched, it will be shelved. And back to? Suros. P.S. I love Suros too, Thorn > All
