Is Crota really just a giant knight?
I'm sorry, but is Crota seriously just a giant knight model? Why is it every boss in the game (except Atheon) is the same model of a lower enemy but bigger?
This game has such a amazing art and detailed models, why do they completely drop the ball with bosses?
This guy should be 100% unique! He should be recognizable from miles away! I should walk into that chamber, see that beast and pee my pants! Instead, I just walk in and immediately think it's just another miniboss pushover knight.

Not just the bosses share the same base models. All the guns uptil legendary teir have the same models. There are about I think a total of 3-4 models for each gun class.... The rest are just reskinned. Look at all ARs almost 2 models rest are reskinned...the snipers almost look thr same save for exotics. I played Borderlands 2 and the variety of guns that game was enough to keep you hooked to the game.

That was a small replica of his own sword. The dialogue that destint was given didn't have story detail of what really is Crota. Crota is a hive Bieng(obviously) . Just like in the chamber of night. That was a apprentice. The princes were protecting the only person that can speak to Crota ( which was that giant green one). Now look at this, Crota sleeps with his sword. Look at the picture and lore ( if there is any). I'm only theorizing. Sadly we all thought it was gonna be some giant bieng. But no! We got another knight lol. XD. Good job bungie! >.>

I want the "big guy" to be bat shit scary, however so far Bungie's slight changes in AI development are on the path of a "evolution" system. EA: dregs have stubs for second arm set, and as they progress the arms grow. Captains, bosses etc. Could turn the Hive story into one of experimentation on guardians so on and so forth.

1 ReplyWho the F cares what he looks like? As long as the encounter is fun yet difficult, glitch free, and with interesting mechanics. I am game. I am personally more scared about that horde of enemies hiding in the dark in the promo picture. December can't come soon enough ^^

When we killed the makers, we dispersed the summoning. The essence returns to Crota. Rules of physics like "size" and "time and space" are fuzzy when you're dealing with something elemental and Dark.
