1 ReplyA real partner would never ask ;-)

I love woman and love sex so GF comes first, then video games.
-
Girl friend is where it's at however you may have the wrong one is she makes you give up your hobby
-
I've been with someone almost a year, you have to find a balance, mine understands my situation, I usually rub her back and cook her food till she full and relaxed and gals asleep. That gives you about 2-5 hours depending on how she sleeps. But she should also understand gaming is a hobby just as she has her hobbies as well. Relationships are give and take and making people choose and change isn't the way to go
-
Games, only because there's a good amount of girls that enjoy gaming. Well at least watching it... Or so they say...

I chose video games. Now it would seem weird for married guy to choose that. But here's the thing: My wife doesn't understand why I love playing games as much as I do. And I don't understand why she has no hobbies other than her phone. lol But we respect each other and love each other regardless of it. I chose videogames because if a woman gave you as ultimatum between something you've loved long before her and herself, then she's not worth having. (With the exceptions of circumstances involving people who don't apply themselves to their relationships. Those people need that kind of ultimatum) Even so. My wife has never made me choose. My decisions ultimately will affect how my day goes no doubt, but she allows me my time and I allow her her time. And we make sure to spend plenty of time together as well. This kind of compromising is the sign of a good relationship. At least in my opinion. *thumbs up for good post*

If I HAD to choose, I would say girlfriend/partner, but she would have to be pretty spectacular. A good partner though, wouldn't make you choose.

1 ReplyLol who thinks up this nonsense 3 words ( it's a game ) anyone who has to think about this question and choses a game I feel very sorry for u. Don't get me wrong I can't w8 to start playing destiny but I would never chose a game over life I play when I can not live when I can.
-
GF/partner, unless it's some kind of stupid ultimatum, then I would pick to be single. I don't have any desire to live under a dictatorship.
-
I only chose video games because the only circumstances I can see where your significant other will ask this question is if he/she doesn't approve of your hobby... And what also matters is your playing time.
-
2 RepliesI refuse to ever put myself in a position where I would have to choose. I also refuse to date anyone with such an ultimatum philosophy concerning my hobbies.

4 RepliesIf your significant other doesn't support your hobbies, you're better off finding someone else in the long run.
-
Both. Your significant other shouldn't make you choose one or the other.
-
Never date a girl that does.not respect you and your hobbies.
-
Depends if my girlfriend plays games ....then yrs
-
So impromptu said ofc my GF
-
If you are certain that the person is THE person to spend the rest of your life with, choose that person.
-
Your girlfriend puts a choice between "emotional relationship" and "a hoppy/pass time" they aren't even in the same category, so you can have both friend,
-
Me and my gf play video games
-
Happily married, actually getting Ghost Edition as an anniversary gift. I'm crazy, not stupid. Wife and kids come first. 'Nuff said. lol
-
Video games ARE my girlfriend.
-
Don't need to choose, because whenever I get a girlfriend and she makes me choose, she is going bye bye
-
5 RepliesVideo games won't backstab me and leave me for my best friend..

Edited by Edos: 9/7/2014 1:04:25 PMMy wife would never make me choose because she loves me. I love her more because of it.

If she's a good girlfriend she won't ask me to choose. Videogames are a hobby and we're in a relationship. I don't see why it can't be both, it's not like I let one completely take over my life and leave no room for the other. I also like camping and going regularly. If she's cool with that why not be cool with videogames.
