Influence is not stealing!
There is a lot of claims that Destiny is stealing concepts from another game and should be sued. An idea so generic as open world, supers, magic etc. is a base line not a owned concept. Even ideas as specific as a dome shield is not specific enough to be sued over because companies can use the concept and just change the design and the copy right becomes invalid. i would assume it's like in the music industry where you pay royalties for performing someone else's song but after so long it becomes free use to the public as long as you don't claim it as your own.

I'm not a fan boy or anything like that. I just like to look at things from a logical point of view. I can understand people who look at some things about games like trailers and just decide the game doesn't look like their cup of tea, but i don't see the point in trying to ruin it for the people who are excited for it. I originally wasn't interested because of some screen shot i seen on the XBL home page, but a friend told me it was by Bungie and that it was worth checking out and now i think the game looks really cool. Ps. Why do people get mad and say it's a rip off of Halo and such? If I am correct then the majority of people were pissed when Bungie sold Halo.

That's like saying titanfall should be sued for "bioshock infinite's" (quotes there's because I'm sure another game had this same concept) of return to sender. Titanfall's vortex shield.

Not stealing!
