As a big fan of shooters with distinct classes and counters, I wonder how the various classes in Destiny synergise and counter one another in the competitive multiplayer aspect of the game? Will we see a Rock-Paper-Scissor cycle of death, or will the influence of various abilities be able to change the dynamic of the multiplayer landscape enough that we will see a much more complex web of hard and soft counters, complimentary and situational weapons and player set-ups? I personally hope for the second of the two, but am very interested in either nonetheless.

16 RepliesSo pissed about the fact that the beta release is in June...waiting half the summer for only a few months of play -_-" I'm still excited, but pissed. Unnecessary waiting for a beta that's still gonna be buggy as hell is even more annoying...the fact that I possibly see a BF4 is still on my mind as well. If something technical ever goes wrong then I'm gonna erupt. Basically made of wait for uncountable failure.

I've pre-ordered the game, yeah, but is there going to be a 'collectors edition' and when is that going to be released to pre-order? I honestly don't mind how much it'll cost, just would like to know when (or if) that's ganna be released.

I both love and hate this wait, I mean hell, I pre ordered Watch Dogs just so I would have something to bide the time. I love everything I'm hearing about the game (No matter how LITTLE has been said.) I've already got around 50 friends pre ordering it and most will be beta testing it with me. All I ask is that you don't get in the way of my sniping off of the cliffs.

Super good advice, last word, persuasive, jealous. They don't sound very nice but I think I'm going to build better relationships with my equipment and loot than with the players I meet.

I believe whole heartedly split screen is still a large possibility....Deej says all the time that they are listening so I'm quite sure they have seen the million comments about split screen since Destiny's early development......I think at this particular moment silence is GOLDEN and Deej's silence makes me believe all the more split screen IS in the game. If not on patrol mode than at least strikes and competitive multiplayer. And if its not I will still be on board with Destiny 110%. Five hundred people working on this every damn day ALL day .....I don't think its too farfetched to assume the "shared world" mantra Bungie has emphasized is more than just a simple nod to online all the time and ever changing.

The list of weapons forgot both pulse rifles (burst fire assault rifles) and scout rifles (designated marksman rifles) that were distinguished in the September 2013 Bungie podcast.
