Are you ignorant or just plain dumb? If you look at how the xboxone works, you only need the disc once and thats to install it, after that you dont need it all your games get transferred to your cloud. thats why you need the internet, they arnt trying to watching you, they are trying to make gaming more convenient for you the gamer. also the whole trade in thing and lending games its all a because of the fact that you install the game and then done if they didnt do this theoretically one person could buy the game pass it out for free and the whole world could get the game for free. all they are trying to do is to make sure that you bought the game. know what you're talking about before post.

All of you sound like broken -blam!-ing records, and I'm not talking about classic vinyls either, more like ones you gave your 3 year-old nephew who put scratches and fingerprints all over them cuz they were awful albums to begin with. Yes, you are allowed to express your opinion, but that doesn't mean that should feel the need to create a thread over the same -blam!-ing issue for the ump-teenth time. After there have been a few threads over the issue, how about we just let said issue go instead of dragging the dead horse out of its grave and beating it with your "Well I obviously have a perspective that no one has ever considered!" attitude. With all of the people who are aware of this issue, I can guarantee that at least one person has already thought of, and posted the exact same thing that you have. I love you guys a lot, but you really don't seem to be able to just let go of issues. For the record, this is not directed specifically to the OP and commenters here either, but to every one of the flood that feels that it needs to take part in this.

I like physical copies of everything I own, not some dumbass digital shit I only get to use on my own console or that I have to download 15 times all over my friends consoles just so we can play the damn game. 2. The majority of everything Microsoft has to offer, app-wise and live-stream-TV-whatever-wise, will not be available in my country. 3. Paying for Live is getting old as -blam!-. 4. All my friends are going to buy the PS4. 5. The PS controller doesn't seem to suck anymore, and actually has triggers now. 6. Destiny with friends (ties in with number 4). 7. The PS + (Plus) or whatever it's called, actually has alot more bang for [i]my[/i] buck than Live Gold (ties in with 3). It's not about the hate, it's about moving on. And finally, I don't care if you didn't want to know this.

5 RepliesI think that the DRM solution is possibly the most effective way of allowing for players to game, seeing as games are now being installed to the HDD as you play, and you no longer need discs. However, the Kinect requirement is bogus, as is the fact that 3GB of the 8GB RAM is already being used by the OS, and rumour has it that the operating system(s) take up a whopping 75GB on the HDD, meaning you only actually get 425GB to store games and content on. I'm on the fence with the next-gen, and unless the exclusives are looking hella flush? I might not even be getting a next-gen console.
