Why is the comminty on Call Of Duty so rude?
To start when I got Xbox Live around a year ago to play online halo reach it was so easy to add friends. I would send them a friend request they would accept it with out sending me a message saying "who is this?" and we would get along good play a couple games of matchmaking and custom games ETC
When I played Call Of Duty and added people they would send me a message saying "who is this?" I would reply saying "someone what do you expect" then they would say "you're a F***ing F*got" and then spamming me with messages.
So why is the Call Of Duty community so stupid and filled with 8 yr. olds
P.S. I would say COD instead of Call Of Duty but COD is a fish spelt CAD but said COD

They're both equally crappy. I've actually had worse experiences in Halo, but that's largely because I've never played them a huge amount.

Change COD in title to every game its been like that since Halo 2 woke the monster

It's just that with CoD having a larger number of players you experience it more often then you do on other games and ironically (I say ironically 'cause Mics aren't really needed on a game like CoD given there's zero teamwork involved) you usually see more people using their mics on CoD then you do other games.

Those who are more vocal about their ideals are often more rude, at least from what I've observed. The same can be said here with the Septagon. So when you go onto a forum, chances are that the people who have a problem will be the more active participants, while everyone else who is enjoying themselves are off doing what they enjoy.

Its a really popular series. Anytime you have a larger, more spread out community you're going to have more people who are jerks. During the Halo 2 and 3 days, it really wasn't any different than what you would see with CoD today.

CoD's community is no different than any other online game. The anonymity lets some people be jerks.
