Adrenaline junkies, race drivers, etc, all do that on a regular basis. I wouldn't say it's irresponsible if you injure yourself or die as a result of something you love doing. It's your responsibility to have fun in life. I understand the opposing side. We had an interesting discussion on the bus today and I thought I'd carry it on here for other people's views.
I get that, but there's also the other argument that if you do do something stupid then the emergency services have to come out and involve themselves, which means someone with a genuine problem that's out of their control could be at risk because you disobeyed the law.
That's the angle I'm coming in at.
