Any damage increase to weapons or damage reducrion coming from new armor or weapons is a pretty stupid idea. We didnt have any of this crap prior to edge of fate. Any damage bonus or damage reduction was tied to the seasonal arifact previously in old content.
Im trying to use my beloved fatebringer in renegades and its now -blam!- compared to new gear. Please keep damage increase bonuses to weapons and incoming damage reduction on armor tied to the seasonal artifact and not new seasonal gear.
This makes all gear relevant and players cqn actually play how they want. If they want to use fatebringer forever let them do so. Ever since edge of fate we have had a slew of moronic changes...the portal being the main one.
Go back to the nightfalls/ gm nightfalls , weekly rotating feathred raids , dungeons and missions.
The portal should only be an optional tab we can select from the destination/world tab thwt shows only the festured content for the week( like whatever raid, dungeon or mission is featured and droppin pinnacles).
Remove the modifier card system and bring back weekly rotating curated mods on activities( i.e an elemental burn(arc, solar, void, strand or stasis), weapon burn( heavy , special or kinetic) and so on. This system was fun.i hate having to sit in orbit selecting mods for activities.
