Raids are for everyone, just because you’re too entitled to play it doesn’t mean it’s not available to you.

Raids are for everyone.” Let’s break down what you actually need for a raid or a contest mode clear: • KWTD (“know what to do”) — this snowballs because every player these days is expected to know every role at any given time. • Must be 550 — for any decent endgame raid build you need to be max light, which means approximately 80 hours of gameplay. • Must have exotics — for any given task in a raid you need a certain amount of specific builds (key-lock mechanics). • Must have knowledge of buffs, debuffs, timers, and combinations — to manage team results, making sure you don’t stack two debuffs or cancel out buffs. • Must know effective damage rotations — no “swap / don’t swap” confusion. Every raid has different rules: one raid wants weapon damage, the next wants ability spam, the next has a specific swap mechanic. • Must own multiple characters — because if the most experienced player on the team wants to run Hunter, you’re on Well duty, even if you don’t have a Warlock. • Keep up with the meta — plus TWID updates, arrivals, known issues, and bug fixes. • Must own Discord. • Must have a headset. ⸻ Then Contest Mode raids… • Must stream. • Must apply overlays. • Must train together beforehand. • Must build into preexisting team synergy and know previous puzzles and raid mechanics. • Must have a flexible schedule in case Bungie changes the date or there’s a buggy launch. And this is all on the top of my head. You sure you think this is everybody

If knowing what to do was a requirement, no one would have raid completions so maybe think twice about that. You don’t need to be ANYWHERE near 550 to do raids, even if you pretend there isn’t the mechanic to bring everyone’s light level up to the highest person. Unless you’re doing contest, there are zero exotics that everyone will try and force you to use. Again unless it’s contest mode, having perfect knowledge of buffs and dps rotations are not only optional, but not even needed. Everyone already is using multiple characters since that’s how the game works so not sure what point you’re trying to make here lol “Keep up with the meta” as if it doesn’t take some guy two seconds you join to say to switch to lord of wolves or something else. Discord and mics are not needed at all lol, most of my raids have been with text chat and I even did a flawless raid with zero comms. I can tell by all your points that you’ve either never done a raid or have just been carried through every time. It’s funny how there are two, glaring barriers that prevent people from doing raids, being finding a team and social anxiety issues, yet you somehow didn’t reference either lol I’ll never understand why this forums is full of trolls like you who love to make up nonexistent issues instead of crying about real problems the game has.

Hahaha. This guy.
-
I see you do not know what the word entitled means
-
Pro tip, don’t accuse others of not knowing what a word means if you don’t know it yourself. Just makes you look not serious.
-
Literally everyone just dunks on you dude.
-
Dang, didn’t realize people spamming lies is “dunking on someone”. Lol nice job embarrassing yourself.
-
Oh dear Lord… after reading this diatribe below I can see you are exceptionally close-minded. A vice for which I’m afraid there is no cure for these days it seems…
-
Not wanting Bungie to gut raid content to add more ritual content makes me close minded. Search up what projecting means, you reek of it.
-
"raids are for everyone" If they were the completion counts wouldn't be so low.
-
Only 3% of players have competed a seal, guess that’s not for everyone either. Only 20% of players have completed a nightfall, guess that’s not for everyone. Same amount of people have unlocked all three light subclass on each character, guess those aren’t for everyone either. You really thought you had something lol
-
Asking Bungie to bring more content that appeals to a broad spectum of players = entitlement......?
-
Asking Bungie to take away from the best part of their game to add more content to the most monotonous and repetitive activities just because OP is too proud to even attempt a raid = entitlement. I get a lot of you on here have horrible reading compression but seriously, you’re not even trying at this point.
-
Putting in more strikes would break up the monotony. Man, talking about comprehension. Get a lot of you on here too.
-
Where did I say adding more ritual activities without any sacrifice wouldn’t be a good thing? The irony of you attacking others reading comprehension when you can’t even read what’s being talked about here at all 😂 Next time, try having a friend of ChatGPT explain what’s being said before you embarrass yourself like this.
-
By calling the guy entitled for suggesting it....
-
Entitled for being too proud to attempt a raid Learn to read buddy
-
Bro has raid clears. Im not your buddy guy.
-
Ah, the “changing the subject because you realized you’re wrong” technique. That doesn’t work as well online when people can see the thread history lol
-
Didn't change anything DB. Learn to read. Bro has clears. He has attempted raids DB.
-
Changing the subject again lol Try again
-
Now I know, for sure, that you're slow. Don't know what's changing for you (other than your feelings) cause it sure isn't this conversation.
-
First you change the subject and now you’re resorting to insults. Lol you’re not even trying at this point.
-
For some that is too much! Lol
-
Adding more ritual activities by taking away development for raid activities, something we only get once a year, is justified for you? Lol
