Good job bungo
I’m really looking forward to the future of bungie games with the brilliant decision making process we seen in the last few years…….

It’s beyond D2 being Dead Bungie is dead😞

If Destiny is dead, you wouldn't be able to play it. It's not even dying, either. Hell, I wouldn't even consider Destiny 1 a dead game. comparing it to other dead games, no one would be talking about it, nobody would care, and it would be months from the servers shutting down. The studio is in a much better place then it was in Curse of Osiris, and I believe it'll rise above this rough spot.

2 RepliesDon’t know if this article is true, but I saw an article saying that Marathon is getting dedicated servers.
But not Destiny 2 of course
3 RepliesThe problem with Marathon is that it could be the greatest hit in its genre, and it still wouldn't be overly profitable given what has been spent on it, because the field is narrow. Now, I'm not an extraction fan, haven't played Marathon in either playtest, and haven't played any of its competitors either, so I have not actual first-hand experience of how they all compare, so I'm not going to try. But Tarkov holds the field in an iron fist right now, are apparently adding a PvE mode, and probably have way lower development costs; ARC Raiders will also now release before Marathon, and is also a sci-fi (although is also a 3rd person, which is a dealbreaker for a lot of people, and has been shown in D2 to kinda mess with PvP balance); and neither of these two titles have the massive negative press that Marathon has. Marathon should in theory have the advantage of being an established IP; but since it is a famously convoluted IP that is 30 years old and in a very different genre (boomer shooters and extraction shooters have exactly 'shooter' as an overlap....), if anything, that IP is going to harm it more than help it. So the tl;dr for my fellow commenters is, even if Marathon is a success (and I do personally doubt it will be, even as a non-expert), it still may not be enough to not ultimately be a failure.....
