How can I get my character I've been playing all this time in the Free Destiny 2 on Steam, to work in the remainder of the Destiny 2 The Final Character and all the other game expansions I've purchased and downloaded from steam? I had started with destiny 2, free, from steam. I've liked and enjoyed the game. I'd come across a really good deal a month or two back to get all the DLCs for about $11 on steam, but could never get to use any of the content and requested a refund which I received. Interestingly none of the content for them was deleted. I've since plunked down $150'ish for all the expansion packs, and after the purchase went through, it seems none of that content needed to be downloaded, as it was still residing on my computer. However, as I got back into the game again after the purchase of the same items, I find they too don't ever come up to play either while playing the free destiny2. I've exited the game, rebooted my computer, got back in the game and the STILL don't come up. Seems like there is some mysterious, magical uber-secretive step to get them to work right. On a whim, I was in steam the other day, looking at The Witch Queen, which had a 'play' button. I thought, Hmmmm. I clicked it and eventually the game came up to start a new character. As though the other character I've been playing all this time was suddenly not available. I've been searching for a way to 'transfer' my character from the 'FREE' destiny2, into 'Destiny 2 The Final Shape' which I've purchased. Is that possible?
