The Raid Rotator changes are garbage
I understand locking all raid challenges behind the raid rotator, but MASTER MODE TOO? REALLY? I have one last master mode challenge in Root of Nightmares to complete my Dream Warrior title, and I was hoping Root of Nightmares was gonna be available next week, but NOPE! Now the Raid Rotator is resetting to Last Wish instead! So now I have to wait at least A MONTH. Can Bungie PLEASE make Master Mode raids available again outside of the rotator? Having my ability to finish up a seal because of time gating is TRASH.

Their philosophy with this kind of stuff is to make you feel like you need to be playing the game. Not because you want to. They know how to design it to make you feel like you're losing out if you don't keep up with this timegating stuff so they keep it in. There's absolutely no need for it other than artificial player retention.

There is just too many things in the game. You need to wait almost 2 months if you missed the week for your dungeon/raid

Im not a fan of this rotating stuff, fine if you wanna give some extra rewards for doing something on modifiers. When things simply arent available to do at all when you happen to be playing for weeks at a time. I think they just dont take into consideration not all of us read every twab, watch every video, listen to every snippet or pop up on screen. I try my best to pay attention but man sometimes i just space things ive seen or heard. And combine this with triumphs/seals/titles being bugged and having to wait or never have a chance to do something it makes we want to play other games. Nvm the fact that some stuff takes far too long to do solo if even can beat it at all.

Indeed, I’m not a fan simply because it sets interest to specific weeks instead of all the time. Even if it’s just a subclass run. Nada till the right time

1 ReplyThe intention is to focus people's attention on that particular Raid for the week. Interest in and desire to play non-latest Master Raids is generally quite low at the best of times, and it would be even harder to get teams together when the players can be divided among all of them at once. Don't see the need to reset the rotation at the beginning of every season though, for this exact reason. If I've got my numbers right, the gap between RoN being the active Raid by the next time it happens will have been 13 weeks.
