Remove PVP and keep Destiny a PVE game.
PVP is a waste of time and resources, especially when servers and matchmaking is just horrid. I don't know how else to put it. Thanks.

9 RepliesPvP use to be good in this game but it has gone to trash with all these changes. They have nerfed MnK to the ground at this point on PC and they made HC horrible unless you run igneous hammer with PI. Everyone i know has left for other PvP games because bungie sucks at doing PvP now. PvE is decent but i dont recomend this game to anyone ever.

PVP in D2 Is garbage, but the moments of brilliance that spring out of its potential are essential to the game. It’s a damn shame that they let it fester due to this fact… The gunplay and movement can carry it through even the worst of moments. Bungie knows this. It’s worth it to keep it around on the off chance that the right studio head will pick up where we left off in D1 Crucible, restore it to glory, and potentially innovate enough to draw new people who normally only play PVP in other exclusively PVP games!

First of I don't like PvP but there are those that do and removing PvP just so pve gets more attention isn't fair on the PvP mains out there bungie just need to find better balance

Without pvp the game would have died long time ago during the huge pve content droughts. You have the right to not like pvp. But A LOT of people do. So its not a waste of time at all.

PvP used to be good. Now it’s a shell of its former self. The matchmaking sucks. The sandbox is terrible. Things sound good on paper but fail upon execution. It’s not a fun experience. I’m trying to like it but it’s actually making me hate it. Sometimes I wonder if bungie likes frustrating their fan base. Destiny one pvp was terrible after year 1 and didn’t get better until rise of iron before they ruined it before leaving it for Destiny 2. Destiny 2 year 1 was terrible, which is similar to now just with the last word, lunas howl and few other outliers. This is many steps backwards. I guess it’s no more crucible soon. I’ll just play something else that has a better pvp experience.

This is funny timing because Bungie just sent out that d2 journey over the past 7 years to each player (I think)... and mine says 61% of my time has been in the crucible (strikes at 14% were the next one for comparison) I have been having a pretty good time in PVP 6s overall and actually think we are are on the brink of a golden age of PVP... new maps that are good... very differentiated modes.. lots of legendary rolls to test,, its a very tricky thing to balance no doubt.. but its a very unique offering for the movement and gunplay (and yes.. abilities too) -
3 RepliesIf that was true, it would be dropped already. They’re only going to invest money in activities that bring more money back in. They obviously feel they get a good return on investment through PvP.
