Game isn’t launching on steam
Every time I try to start up the game. I see 2 seconds of the loading screen then it crashes. I have tried everything to fix it on my end but their are no error codes.

17 RepliesHi there! If you are on Steam and you are running the beta version of Steam, please try reverting back to the last official release to see if the issue persists.

1 ReplyHello, I had the exact same issue. To fix it I went into the Destiny settings on steam, and under Controller, from the Drop-down, choose disable Steam input. Hope this helps!

Had the same issue and opting out of the steam beta fixed my issue.

1 ReplyYep Same for me, 2 Seconds of loading then Poof. Here's what I have tried so far, assuming someone from bungie reads this eventually hopium. Disabled all overlays (only ever have Nvidia/steam on and its never a problem) Verified integrity of game files Allowed in antivirus and windows firewall, it was (haven't changed any protection software recently) Tried it with Nvidia Gsync off (old google search said to try this, didn't help) Turn allow priority in task manager to High (google also said to try this, didn't help) Tried running with nothing else open in case Ram/power issue (I have a strong PC anyway) -Currently full reinstalling game All my other games open with no problem including other steam games will update after reinstall, only takes 30 minutes

Same with me, played fine yesterday. I haven't downloaded or really done anything since then, but now yea loads in for 2 seconds then poof game crashes and its gone. Tried restarting PC, redownloading game, and verified files twice :C SOS

4 RepliesThat's a problem when you have the Steam beta enabled! Just Opt-out and the game will start just fine

I have the same problem, but I can't access the beta tab in my settings. I've tried everything (restarting, doing all the computer + steam + graphics card updates and so on) and the game closes after 1 to 2 seconds of launching. When I launch it on another computer (with the same account) everything works and the game launches, does anyone have any ideas ?

15 RepliesSame Here. I looked at the crash_info.txt in the appdata folder and says there is a runtime error: ### RUNTIME ERROR: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION at 0000000000000000 Not sure what happened since it was fine last night when I was playing.

2 RepliesSame. Get 1 to 2 seconds of loading screen, then crash to desktop. No errors or indication of problem. Was working fine yesterday. Uninstalled and reinstalled Battleye. Verified installed files on Steam twice. All good. Cleared CVARS.xml No joy. ...Bungie? Anything???
