If you read the messages, it's not Bungie's fault. It's YOUR network connection. They never own up on having pics poor network admins. No other online game has the connection issues this game has.

I’m not sure what’s going on with Bungie right now, but the blatant disrespect lately has been at an all time high (IMO). They’ve done this plenty times before in the past, but as of late I can’t shake the feeling that we’re being mocked to some sort of degree, mostly due to the fact that they’re banking on some of us continuing to tolerate it and play. Its like we always get sweet talked in a vidoc or twab, season releases, then there’s always some nonsense we’re stuck with and they go silent which means we gotta hold that sh**. Yet if the nonsense worked in our favor, it’s hotfixed within a week or two. It’s 2022, and instead of getting a discount on Eververse stuff for the holidays, we’re still paying $15 for a cosmetic set, when 80% of the time only one (or two) pieces of the set we actually want. I wonder if they realize they’d actually make more money if they allowed us to buy individual pieces of a set instead of the whole? Probably not. Unless Jesus did the concept art for these armor ornaments, I don’t understand why the price is $15. But I digress. I will not go down the almost 10 year old rabbit hole of problems to what holds this game back from being all it can be. With that out of the way, once I do my gilded Conq. on day one GMs, and bounty farm for Lightfall, I’m done with this season completely. I usually do flawless trials once or twice a week for fun, but I don’t have the motivation anymore. I’ve mostly stuck around here because of the occasional PVP, but I mostly do endgame PVE stuff now. I made a very early goal last season which was to solo/flawless whatever type of dungeon that was releasing with Season 19. I did just that on day 2, roughly on my 6th attempt (Spire was such a fun experience, 8.5/10). It happened so much faster than expected, I literally have nothing to do for the rest of this season except wait for GMs to open up. Once I do the Power Level stuff for Lightfall, and get through the content that I currently enjoy (week one dungeon solo/flawless, gilded Conq., new raid(?) ), I’m most likely gonna hang up my jersey. I’m only saying that because I prematurely paid for Lightfall on digital PS5 (like the clown that I am), so I might as well get something out of it I guess. It’s been a decade almost, I’m not a naive 20+ yr old like before when I started Destiny in early 2015. Things have changed, the world is changing at paces never seen before, and this game doesn’t respect any of that. The predatory nature of how it burns through our time, money, and dare I say our mental psyche is way more than I signed up for in a video game series. But it’s not all Bungie’s fault, I’m part of the problem too because I participated. I didn’t get off the ride when it became too much and got out of hand. If things go well from Lightfall and beyond then that’s cool. But I kind of got what I can out of this series already. With that said, we have RE4 Remake, MHRise on PS5, BoTW 2, FF16, FF7R pt.2, and more, all coming out next year. I’m confident 90% of those games will respect my time, and peace of mind (not totally sold on FF16, but my goodness are they winning me over). I’ll keep it classy and say whatever they’re working, I genuinely hope it’ll be worth it. Regardless if I participate or not. I think we all deserve that much at least.

Same for me. This is why we all need to either not pre order lightfall or cancel. For a AAA company, this is utterly pathetic.

was doing a solo also and was thrown back to space becuase of contacting destiny servers. Fix the issue or you are going to lose players. This has been going on for about 2 wks for me

I find this current connection problem very strange. I live and play from Australia and have seen no such connection issues. Given the distance involved to Bungo HQ and Australia's notoriously bad internet it's very strange to me that my game plays as good/bad as it ever does.

They just got 3 BILLION from Sony - add some friggin servers or do whatever to fix the issues. I HATE BEING TOLD THAT I HAVE NO INTERNET CONNECTION - ONLY TO TEST AND SEE THAT IM RUNNING AT 150+ SPEED
