i liked it, brent spiner was my favorite character

I watch it, and i love it. It's a slow burn, but it probably has the best writing in the whole entire Star Wars franchise. I especially like the way they've taken a cartoonish concept like the empire and made it feel 3 dimensional and real.

3 RepliesThe obi wan show is an abomination let's just leave in it the dark where it belongs

1 ReplyObi Wan was -blam!-. They should apologize and remove it from existence.

It’s pretty boring and predictable

Obi-wan was okay. But it was created many to restore the cannon. Andor is great, but “suffers” from many of the problems that the Prequels did. 1. It’s telling a story about the lead up to war (Galactic Civil War) rather than a war story. 2. It offers nothing to those who want Star Wars to be a sci-fi/fantasy fairytale. It a gritty story about ordinary people pushed to do extraordinary things…and can be quite morally grey at times. 3. There are actually decent people on both sides of the conflict. The decent people on the Imperial side just can’t see the big picture to understand they are part of an institutional evil. Likewise you have shitty people on both sides. Willing to rationalize doing some awful stuff by telling themselves and others that their ends justify their means. Or had been corrupted so slowly they probably failed to realize what had happened. Hearing Ularen speak at that meeting of the ISB after heist was chilling, and showed how far that man had fallen since the days of the Clone Wars.

3 RepliesI'll watch it if I don't have to pay for it, but I'm not giving Disney another red cent.
-
Watched the first one, but that’s it. Lead guy has nothing and the script was boring.
-
2 RepliesHe reminds me of Mcree from over watch
-
1 ReplyI watched the first two episodes and that's it. Apart from the odd moment it was generally boring and I found myself fast forwarding part of the second episode. I find that Disney's shows tend to start out slow then get good at the end before finishing.

I’ve really enjoyed it as well! The Star Wars shows have been where it’s at in regards to Star Wars. I just love seeing gaps filled in, lore come alive, and the universe expanded. Looking forward to seeing where it continues to go!

1 ReplyI hear it's genuinely good, but I'm still gonna shelf it till I get really bored or until it messes up. After the last two shows, my will to watch Star Wars has... wavered.
-
I'll probably watch it sometime around the holidays.

I’ve only watched ep 1 and 2 and it’s already clone wars quality. It’s dark and gritty and makes Star Wars adult for once in a long time, I mean the first 20min has cassian going into a brothel and killing an off duty cop in cold blood. Never did I think I would say this but I really like this Star Wars crime drama. not to mention I’m also really into the B plot with the imperial officer trying to reveal the complacency of the rest of the force. Such good -blam!- writing!!!!

Its good yeah, its nice seeing mortals in the galaxy going about their daily lives, as opposed to invincible heroes and space wizards in the light-good dark-bad dogma
